I just downloaded et from pirate bay. It came with a zipped file that contained patch 2.60 and 2.60b as well as the orginal exe.
perhaps I didnt extract the patches correctly, but everytime I try to log into a server it gives me the same error message everytime.
It downloads the maps and the soundpacks etc etc then gives me this error: (ui_mp_x86.dll) Failed Pure Server Check
I think you should get the game here, then download the patch. But if that doesn’t work, then IDK what to do.
Install this way:
-Run wolfet.exe installer by double-clicking
-Run patch 2.60 by double-clicking
-Replace the ET.exe file in your Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\ folder with the one provided with the 2.60b patch using cut/paste
Downloading W:ET off piratebay seems like the worst possible way to download a free game to me

That’s what you should do. Don’t download anything at pirate bay, just get it from the official site, if you can’t get it at the official site, then use that.
k ill try it again downloading from here. and doing that.
the only reason I didnt officially download it is because it was DLing at like 30kb/s -.-
