Ok I have an ATI 9700 pro and just all of a sudden while playing Et and other games colors and crap start showing up making it impossible to play. 
I have reinstalled both drivers for the card and Direct x and it still happens. It only happens everyonce and a while. I have also cleaned off the fan from the card.
I am wondering could this be an overheating problem or could it also be a problem with the power supply line going to the card?
If you have this grafic-problem in all 3D-Games
and you have tested all actually Catalyst’s (or special drivers from the card-manufacturer homepage)
I think the card have a damage… :disgust:

Well I have tried the new drivers or catalyst’s I have also taken the card out and visually inspected it. Nothing seems damaged and after I put it back in it didnt happen again. But it has come back before.
Is your card is still under warrenty? If so get a replacement. Thats just one clue that your card is going on you. But first do some tests just to make sure.
My soundcard went on me last week. Did all sort of tests. Like changed the slots on the mobo and so on. If the problem persists, replace it.
It certainly looks cool. =)
Most likely overheating, or a bum card. Replace it if you can. Otherwise keep an eye on your internal temps via a motherboard utility and see if it only happens when you reach a specific heat level.
