Does anyone else find the Iron sights on the GRANDEUR to be a nuisance? The gun gains incredibley great accuracy scoped in but it’s almost impossible to keep your aim on someones head because of the recoil. No longer being able to stop the animation really hinders the gun so I think the sights definitely need to be changed. Anyone else agree?
GRANDEUR needs it's sights changed.
They’re just bad. Look how thick the ring is on the rear sight! The recoil immediately obscures your target at long range and is very clunky compared to hip firing.
I’ve been wondering more about adding red-dot sights to both the Grandeur and the Dreiss. Thoughts?
In what way? Right now the ‘annoyance’ of the ironsight especially on the grandeur feels like it balances the gun well to me. Making it a red dot sight(less gun model movement)might make the gun super easy to use and swing balance in a loop
Since it hits like a beast once you get the hang of how to use the ADS, removing that requirement would affect balance?
To original post: I think the annoying ADS is what balances the rifle. It hits like a monster if you play it reserved and learn to deal with the sight, simply making ADS usage easier would make the gun very overpowered as suddenly damage output becomes way faster as you dont to take as much time to shoot anymore
It definitely would affect balance, but something being too awkward to effectively use shouldn’t be the balancing factor of a weapon really.
Fair enough but thats kinda setting yourseld up for getting a ****storm of people complaing about not getting red dots on other guns thay they feel are obnoxious to shoot with(inb4 k121 rants). Is it ‘animation-ally’(lack of a better word) possible to have the gun feel less flinchy/less movement on screen? Or does that require complete remoddeling?
It’s possible, it requires some animation changes and we’ve toned down some of the worse cases. That is also part of the balance of the weapons too though

For the grandeur I support that. Less for the dreiss. Doesn’t that gun have a lot less recoil and might make the dreiss too good. In my personal experience with the dreiss, which isn’t a ton tbh, the ironsight as it is is fine. I can see it being a nice flavor for the grandeur though and definitely would make iron sight shots with that weapon a bit more bearable.

I too would appreciate new sights on the Grandeur, but like adeto I would recommend to NOT make them steady like spookify requests. The Grandeur is really powerful WHEN/IF you hit, which right now is a little hard because of that huge ring.
would LOOVE red sights on redeye. Wouldn’t bother me at all if the gun has to be nerfed a tad to balance that out. Like Smooth said, balancing shouldn’t be based on how annoying a feature is to use.
Agree. The grandeur just isn’t as much fun to use as it should be. Plus he’s called redeye so it kinda makes sense 
Do you have a source for these supposed numbers or are you just basing that off personal experience. Dreiss seems like a fine weapon to me, but if you got numbers i.e. player statistics for 10k games, show them.

It was a good gun before the completely uncalled for rate of fire nerf happened a few months back.
Don’t have an issue with it’s recoil, but the ironsight pin I find impossible to see.
A while back I suggested adding an option that allowed the crosshair to still be visible during ADS, especially so players with external crosshairs wouldn’t have an advantage, so I’d like to re-suggest that.
Also a bright tip could also be added to the ironsight pin to make it more visible for players that wouldn’t like crosshairs on during ADS.

That’s a terrible way to balance a weapon.
Heaven forbid it is actually on par with the PDP… You know, that gun that hits harder, has less recoil, easier to use and does more dps? Yeah, that one.
Perhaps I just got the PDP nerfed. "Many players are finding the PDP too effective, so we’ve added 50% start up spread while scoped. To compensate we’ve increased the RoF by .1 and naturally had to reduce the bullet damage by 1. We also added .5 second reload time to bring it more in line with shotguns "
YES PLEASE, that will make the grandeur a legit, fun weapon, dreiss even with a better sight might still be too weak tho, just a pretty bad gun atm
