Grandeur M4-10

[quote=“Ghosthree3;63327”][quote=“Parmenion;63320”]It’s not the Grandeur damage, it’s your aim.
If a Aura survived after 2 shots either she have been healed or there is a damage penalty in arms and legs. I have no information on the damages on other body parts.[/quote]
There’s no damage penalty but don’t forget fall off damage, which is very real and very lame.[/quote]

well thats funny because i have encountered many mercs, bushwakkers/sawbones that survie from 3 shots to body and they were in point plank range and they vere left with 1-10 hp and they had no healing station or other healing methods in the use during this.

Damage fall off cant be it, they are too close, arms and legs damage could be reason, but i managed to hit middle of the chest.

I have no idea what is it with this gun, but when it does that, its freaking annoying.

I’ve experienced this too actually but I thought I was just missing something. Possible huge bug with the gun?

look this topic: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=415153540&insideModal=1

Look like damage to legs are less than body for some weapon, i think M14 deal less to legs. It’s easy to verified with a friend.

@Parmenion I gotta question those stats. granted the topic is pretty old. But most of those numbers are not adding up, some of the weapons have very weird body damage numbers (non I have ever seen on those weapons) and more important body and head damage don’t align with a 2x damage amplifier. Not sure how they tested those stuff but could very well be that their testing was flawed.

Never heard of reduced damage to arms/legs aswell. Would imagine, if the game had that it would have come up a couple of times by now.

One thing to keep in mind with the Grandeur is that it follows roughly a spread pattern similar to the old Dreiss. I.E. shooting at full speed is only reasonable accurate for 2-3 shots after that the gun goes all over the place, would be easy to miss even in close range.

True about the bloom. I’ve tested it with a friend and just fired it as fast as I could. Missed first two shots on purpose then turned on em. I swear, bullets curved around em xD

sooo- can we focus on this damage falloff/inconsistency thing? because I too have noticed (its hard not to when you have a weapon where you need to 2 or 3 shot someone) that ive hit squishies like aura twice and they have not died. or hit other classes 3 times. I also wondered if arms/legs did less damage?

Its hard anecdotally remember the ranges where this has happened, but I do not believe its been in point blank.

What is going on here? does this gun have damage falloff that hits well within its effective and intended ranges? If that is true, it makes the gun almost unusable. The only consistent thing about it is you know you can end most fights in 2-3 hits. if you cant end it with the third especially when you believe you will you are probably dead. It seems like they released this gun as weak as they possibly could

(watsyurdeal) #67

That’s how most shooters function, you get a damage bonus when you hit the head, and a damage penalty when you hit the arms or legs, and then of course there’s falloff.

But to be honest, I could not tell you how this shit really works, cause even though SMGs have range, I really question whether it actually works. Cause I get killed with just bodyshots from what seems like Sniper range, almost instantly.

Idk, but it’d be nice to know exactly how things work from the devs themselves.

The most annoying thing about the SR is the iron sights, without a doubt. You have to aim above where you want to hit to actually hit it, so for headshots the enemy’s head has to practically be below the iron sights to hit.

Top secret bbcode stuff. It’s not hard though, check the image location url to get the image and if you read the code given you should be able to make it link steam profile.

Too bad you can’t have a signature hahahaha!
