As topic says.
The game has gotten to me, and i really enjoy playing it.
Atm im working on a Med Character and are spending most of my time running behind the soldier/engy/operative that are going for obj. enjoyable when we succeeds hacking somthing. so gg
and yeah i still have stuff i would like changed, but i can see SD are on about it, and just wanted to tell, that I like the game and I am not likely to dismiss in the near future

I think there are issues that should be adressed before the DLC arrives (wont mention here what they are, as there are enough Threads doing that), and by the look of it, it seems that SD are on it, so im like all others ofc also waiting for that, but in the meantime, im still playing and having fun doing it.
and knowing it will get better its just a +

Patriotqube, I play on the XBox and I’m also loving this game. Put aside the fact that I’m unable to play online for the time being, it’s an awesome game.
There is still, like you said, things to be fixed, but that can be fixed.
I enjoyed RTCW, ET and ETQW and I enjoy playing this too, having plenty of fun on it

Usually i like playing with people and that’s why i wrongly bought this game
If i knew it would have been sp only i wouldnt have bought it.
yup, still enjoying it. i tried a few other games at weekend and kept coming back to brink. i now have 4 level 20 characters so looking forward to DLC

I dont know what system you are playing on, but on PC i can get fights against humans every day
our servers has some people on them from time to time as you can see below. i dont prefer playing bots tbh, only playing against them while server is filling up with humans

0/16 apart that made me laugh, you think i can play a game with ping 150 or 200, playing in uk or usa?
And btw in italy there isnt a single clan of brink.
Brink isnt even in top 100 games played in steam and it’s steamworks. It says all.
There isn’t much to argue when u try to compare thoughts with facts.

Well sorry for you then (You cant blame the devs for that can you?) , but that dosent take away my experience in the game, on who and where i play and how i feel about it.
btw i play quite alot on our US server with 176 ping, and i cant really feel the difference from that to the 60 ping i get on our UK server, thats maybe just me, but thats how it is.

Brink came out in the middle of May.
Just let that sit and marinate for a while.

The Brink community as it is now would be acceptable if the game was released in 2008 and had been out for 3 years. This game has been out for only 60 days.
No one should be forced to play on high ping servers because they’re the only servers with real people on them when the game is only 2 months old. That is, if it was a decent game, anyway.

Im not making this post to explain to anyone why im having fun in the game, im simply stating that i do.
The devs cant be blamed for the fact that there are no servers in Italy or should we cry to them about that also?
I dont care how old the game are or how many is playing it, i draw my own conclusion Okey?
when thst sunk in, then im back to the topic where i make a thread telling SD that i like playing that game, how hard can that be to understand.
anyway, i made my point and have no intention to get into arguments with ppl of other opinions, there are like 500 threads they can use to say they are disapointed and that they dont like the game, and that 50 bucks just was a robbery etc etc etc.
not going there. i already told my mind, and dont need to defend my feelings towards the game to anyone.
Alberto, morguen87: I can understand being disappointed, but please don’t rain on anyone elses parade for liking, enjoying and having fun with the game. Some people do genuinely enjoy playing Brink, so let them have fun with it, it’s good that people are getting something from Brink, so please don’t try come on to a thread that’s genuinely praising the game with the sole intent of lowering the tone and starting an argument.

The game was designed with only 2 gimmicks in mind. Instead of adding things to a balanced team based objective shooter they tried to add a team based objective shooter to an interesting, but poorly implemented smart system and a system that let you dress up characters like dolls. They spent so much time letting players dress up their character like Post-Apocolyptic-Ken they forgot to add the team based objective shooter til the last minute. As a result, we got a half assed game that lets you play Barbie.
