Hi

So i was again bored and used the great glitch on slipgate. Then someone noticed that, Holy cow, how pissed he became, he started calling voted for kick, started insulting, yeah that’s all reasonable, who would not get mad about it :wink:

so, i did the glitch again when he was on spec so he saw how i did it. Again insults how 0skill i am, etc. etc. standard in such cases.

and now the great part begins:
day after, the same guy, other server, and i see him doing… the glitch i used and laughing from everybody who complain about him.

conclusion?
the one who scream most loudly about how bad glitches are, seems to be mad just because he don’t know how to use that glitch.

this subject just came to my mind :slight_smile:

and yes i know glitching = bad thing.

most funny thing with Volcano glitch is that even if you get kicked after planting, the TNT remains planted :smiley:

I assume either your player name or his is Madanra? I got a few emails about this happening on our server a few minutes ago. We’ll be initiating a PB Ban and we will be publishing all related PB GUIDs and IP addresses here on this thread for other server admins.

Whoever wants to do these glitches will have to buy another copy of QW and reset their IP every time they want to do it, or I guess you can just play SP against bots forever…

Apparently this happened on our servers with asmo using a different name of “ra” with a clan tag of “madan” in front of it.

I got an email from one of my clan officers w/ attached demos and watched asmo do the slipgate glitch before he was kicked.

We are changing that kick to a PB ban on all our NA and EU servers, and I advise all server admins reading this to do the same.

For any server admins, here are both of his PB GUIDs and his IP address. BTW, it seems he has a static IP address as it matches up with an IP he used on one of our TAW EU servers this past summer, even if he went out and paid for another copy of the game to change his PB GUID.

Asmo’s PB GUIDs:

In general i think a ban is okay but better is to speak with the glichter and
after the discussion BAN HIM !!!

Our Clan is also banning glitchers but we are cleaning the banlist from time to time

I’m all for banning cheaters! But, I’m also for giving them parole after a period of penance.

If they cheat while on parole, then its a lifetime ban! throw away the key, paint red letters on their foreheads, publish their names, humiliate and denigrate them and their actions!

A glitcher is only annoying if he does that repeteadly, banning him from most of the ranked server is a bit harsh dont ya think? I’m not taking asmo’s defence here cuz I personnaly think he’s a douche, but you should try to speak with ppl instead of instant multiglobal ban, almost everyone tryed a glitch one day, server admins can kick the douche, restart map and everyone’s happy, if he do it again temp ban, then lifetime ban.

If I was sent to jail for life each time I stole some candies in the fuel station close to my house, damn I would’ve taken like 10026 years of prison (still this USA law makes me laugh: “no mister its not lifetime sentence, only 124 years of prison, enjoy!”)
