Well… taking people by surprise is probably the best way to kill with Sparks. Going “mano y mano” and trying to win a gunfight with your 80 hp against guy that has better SMG/AR/SG or anything else is just stupid. Might work against new players, but skilled guys won’t let you do anything.
As friend Sussepus said above: She is a reviver after all, not a killer. So accept her as a medic god dammet.
She’s a medic first, and a killer (if you’ve got the skill) second. That’s the joy of Sparks, I think, getting kills basically shows you’re legitimately out-playing (out-sneaking?) your opponents.
As others have mentioned, the emp-9 is a beast, dps wise, it rivals the smgs, but REQUIRES good tracking on heads, and racking up kills by sticking with teammates is an extremely efficient play-style for her.
So…yeah, use your team mates as your own personal meat shields.
edit: I’m only mentioning this in the hopes it eventually occurs…healing grenades, please…pls…
As a Sparks about 90% of the time (switching to Aura only occasionally), I think she’s great as-is (other than the bug where a powered revive doesn’t do a thing). I get some kills with the machine pistol, but first & foremost I’m support. Plus the Revive Gun makes a half-decent sniping weapon.
