Doesn’t mean the public likes to play in the same settings (look at SC2). Now I’m not talking about the way many comp scenes completely rape the game, but such a low skill-ceiling isn’t appealing to anyone.
everyone cries about the game as if SD was making the game specifically for them and did a bad job at it. Please take note that games that come out arent made -just for you- so if theres something you dont like, less qq more pew pew, or leave.
i dont know why all the haters stay here on the forums for a game they dont like. it makes no sense.
Yeah that’s what most people did, that’s why the forums and the public games are such a barren place.

everyone cries, about people crying about the game, as if their opinions somehow are directly towards them. Please take note that these opinions are about a game, and -not about you- so if theres something you dont like, less qq and more get a clue, or leave.
Barren Waste Land.
This was last night.
Wolf’s recent player list
(The tiny grey lettering says 11 hours ago playing Brink:) )
Could fill 3 Big Team matches with those!
:)
It is a list of our final 50 victims that we butchered. That was just final hour or so I think. Every match was full starting at 8:30 pm. And doesn’t include our party of 8 in which 10-15 different friends cycled in and out at different times.
Have you even tried joining something as simple as a fireteam?
?
Yes, today, on our clanserver, worked for me. Very nice to see your friends always highlighted, really like this feature.
And can anyone type gg at the end of the match? (And I mean AFTER the cutscene)
?
Yes, again, today, worked. BTW, this is a standard for me in Brink ^^
Just had to say that.
Yea you can join a fireteam but it takes 4 or 5 handlings to finnaly be in a fireteam which is stoopid
Especially when their 2 previous games you joined a fireteam with 1 (ONE!) button
And when the match ends and you see the scoreboard the endgame chats are all greyed out so it isn’t possible

That was an amazing post and I hate it took me 2 days to see it.
I think if you were to look at the percentages of competitive players vs public players awaiting BRINK on the PC, you all would see the percentage be a lot higher for competitive players than normal. This game had people from Quake, Counter-Strike, Unreal Tournament, etc., all looking forward to the saving grace of competitive gaming. It wasn’t as if it was only the W:ET and ET:QW vets wanting the game and hoping for it to succeed.
