Alright guys, we have a new time set for the final match – this Sunday, July 28th at 9 PM German time (GMT+2). For anyone keeping track at home for how long it took to schedule this match:

Week ending July 7: 3laCk. unavailable to play because of vacation
Week ending July 14: no decision made (same reason as below)
Week ending July 21: 40ShotsNoKill unavailable to play until the 21st because of exams, 3laCk. unavailable on the 21st due to a birthday
Week ending July 28: 3laCk. sets a date/time for Friday, July 26th at 20:00 GMT+2, 40ShotsNoKill accepts, but 3laCk. reneged on it themselves; 40ShotsNoKill sets a date/time for Sunday, July 28th at 21:00 GMT+2

After one month, this will be the last opportunity for these 2 teams to play. If this match was forced, it would’ve been played by July 14th (3laCk. had requested the week ending July 7th off by the proper time); however, since 3laCk. has already requested their own time (then backed out from it), we’re giving them one last chance to play at 40ShotsNoKill’s time choice. Like I said in my last post, one way or another, this tournament ends August 1st.

So i finally registered in that place where all the cool guys hang around -.- and i must have too many fangirls my name was already taken by one…

To rex:

I was soo suprised when you added me ingame, rex, and even more when you asked me last night when 3lack can play (the first time of DIRECT contact in a month) :o
But there seems to be a missunderstanding :confused: i told you that alsef is the captain of 3black (yes i know we tried to keep it a secret so sry) and you should talk to him because i have no idea when he and feruto can play or not.
I also said that weekdays are better for us (weekends not so good) and that you should really think about posting such stuff in this awesome place (=forums) for here it will be valued, honored and most imporatantly READ

So today i wake up and receive an email from taw saying that you request a match on the Sunday 28th (weekend ofc). I think you did a little mistake here rex for in an earlier email from 2 weeks ago wizard told me that day is not possible because

Do you really want to take such a big sacrifice and play on your own bday?? btw gratz alsef!! But take that lesson from rex and use your future bdays for pc games you noob!

But what is even more important imo besides the fact of your generosity and determination… what if you lose, rex (i know its not likely) but hey just imagine it… we would have to play a second match to determine THE ULTIMATE QW TEAM… and the other team must carry on their lives in shame and disgrace and will be forgotten in history

Do you intend to take another month to schedule this final match???

Sounds to me like a forced match and a shift of the deadline??? Show a bit of consistancy please…

We have asked rex directly on this forum multiple times to play against us. Im not going to ask you again rex because im a PUBLIC player and i have no idea how COMPETITION works but at least i can read

Its NOW the weekdays between alsef and rex bday and Sunday is OUR last opportunity (if i understand correctly)

I can be available every evening starting today but ONLY IF i know that 7 players are gonna join a server. Can you guys play tomorrow, Thursday, Friday etc? the second match can be played on rex bday then

I dont want to start a discussion here with anyone. i want to CHALLENGE rex to a match for i dont need the mercy of being given a „last opportunity“. Come on 3lack lets give rex his OWN opportunity to play against us THIS WEEK as it was said in emails weeks ago

To the public (our fans and haters, the more and the less funny guys etc)

If 3lack cant offer rex a date before Sunday and cant play Sunday either THEN you can start flaming/bitching

In the meanwhile i suggest you all go outside and enjoy a bit of this awesome summer

Sorry if you feel like we’re forcing the match to be played by August, but that’s just the way it is. This ENTIRE tournament has been a labor of love on Nemesis’s and my parts. We’ve been organizing this for months now, and we’re not gonna wait around for 2 teams to play 1 match that I announced on June 30th. You’ve had a month. 14 other teams in this tournament scheduled and played a match EVERY WEEK, and 40ShotsNoKill and 3laCk. are supposed to be the best of us all – act like it please.

There are people who donated their own money to this tournament and Splash Damage generously gave us Dirty Bomb keys to give away, I’m not gonna keep people who invested their personal wealth in us waiting. I think I speak for everyone on the forums when I say I just want some closure.

Very sad how this all turned out, but to be expected I guess. I don’t really get all the rescheduling since a match like this doesn’t take half a day … Just wanna say that I don’t see the fault in the admins. NOONE does anything for this game anymore, and you did and that was nice. Litterally the best pricepool for dunno how many years( MANY !!! ;).

No, we never got around to finishing organizing this because we had to help schedule the final. Not sure if he and I have time to organize this at the moment, but if someone wants to take charge on it, the teams are here, a website is still live, and servers are still up. Just need to set up a survey to get votes for team MVPs and decide a date/time.
