As for me I’m totally up to help reaching the 1000 posts here now since it’s the only fun we can have with this cup until the teams decide to show-up and play! :smiley:

And I do agree with Ashog, many cups had a bad ending this three last years because teams never play the grand final or fade away after one month of activity. That’s QW style! :wink:

Meh. Srsly, are these finals gonna happen or not? I was so looking forward to seeing those 2 teams in a match, but the waiting is tiring and annoying. Why dont you admins end this bs and give a deadline, so its over and done with. Its kinda getting pathetic and apart from the finals-drama this was a really good tournament you guys organised. Even if the finals wont happen at least let this end in a decent, acceptable way.

P.S.: Btw, if I was admin of this tournament, I would disqualify both finalists for their lack of sportsmanship and let the following 2 teams play the finals and win the prices.

I’ve told both teams already that I intend for this tournament to be over by August 1st, so if a final is going to happen, it will happen within the next week. I’m sorry the public is disappointed in waiting, but the fact is that both of these teams have earned their way up to the finals – neither 40ShotsNoKill nor 3laCk. have lost a single game they have actually played, so they have demonstrated that their skill is unmatched. We may not get to find out who is #1 and who is #2, but it’s certainly not anyone besides these 2 teams, so they will get their prizes. I’m only waiting until August to let them play a match before I distribute prizes. We’re currently waiting for 40ShotsNoKill to set a date for 3laCk., since 3laCk. has already set and missed their own preferred date. Regardless of whether a final game is played or not, it ends August 1st, no coin flip.

Ok, thx for the update. Just one more comment to this. It takes more than skill to (using your words) “earn” the first place or win in tournaments or anything alike. Just like in any other sports event there are things to consider like fair behaviour/sportsmanship, respect towards organisers and other teams etc. etc. In that regard imo both dont deserve the win lol. But ofc the most important thing is the skill and the won matches, so fair enough. I hope we will still get to see one last epic final match =)

If i was admin of this tournament . I would disqualify, both finalists for their lack of sportsmanship and give prize pool to ZUBR, because they are nice :wink:

So if one team wants to play but the other refuses how can there be an agreement? But of course both teams would deserve a disqualify. It’s always funny to see how players who have no clue about competition would judge such a situation.
Good thing you are only admin of a pub server lol and other experienced admins handle the competitve part of the game.

I would rather love to see the community to play some matches (feel free to ask us!) than reaching a meaningless number of posts in this forum. But I think for the majority here it is more fun to post than actually play the game. Which is really sad in my opinion.
