You guys were unavailable this week and they were unavailable next week. Without drawing sQwaL into this by delaying your match for 2 weeks, the schedule was set to its default forced time. The ruling stands because neither team could reach a compromise, which is the captains’ responsibility.

I had prepared a super wall text in order to get this match played, but I figured out that everything was said in NERD’s post.

Admins, please think of how you tried to get TMNT out of the crap when they did not show up after ignoring me, and how to put 3lack into the crap after scheduling a match on a date you knew they could not play. Is it fair ?

Yes its “fair” rUBBEN because no one is willing to cooperate so we are forced to do as the rules say. Just like with TMNT, we tried to work with tba to get more time. In fact, I find it surprising you complain seeing as how you got your win through a forfeit as well…

The tournament moves forward with the lower bracket starting this week.

IMO its just a joke srsly when we say we cant play 3 or 4 days before the game starts EVERYBODY read this in this forum then i email it to wizzard and we still get forced to play at this date ohh well how should we not complain? Its funny cause i rly thought this cup is to get ppl together and nobody plays this old game anymore why the **** does it make a diffrence to play a final 1 or 2 weeks later but w/e its your cup do what you guys want for me its just ridiculous but not suprising i knew rex will do everything he can not to play against us since hes a litte scared bitch. always was always will be…

Guys, you’ve been defeated again without playing.

You have to realize that part of the matches are played before to join the server and this is your weakness.

Doesn’t make any sense to continue discussing this new defwin. I kindly recommend you to focus in the next match with sQwaL and manage to get up and running a more beneficial scenario for the final.

In the case of Bullet Hell vs. [Masterclan}, both teams wanted the match played but agreed that it couldn’t be done in the given time frame, so BOTH captains contacted us and asked for an extension, which we allowed. This is a perfect example of how to correctly go about rescheduling the match.

This past round, the captains could not agree to a reschedule. Neither team e-mailed us regarding any difficulties scheduling a match until the day of (as I’ve stated time and time again, anything you post about your match scheduling on the forums is NOT considered official until it’s e-mailed in, and no one’s had a problem with that until now). Please understand that this puts the admins in a very difficult position, because whether we enforce the rules to the letter, or try to be lenient and work around them, someone is going to become upset. We chose to adhere to our own rules that we set, the same rules that every team besides the exception above has had to abide by.

Given how the result of this match was handled, we will be enforcing the rules strictly from here on out. I suggest everyone listens to Ecano’s advice above and moves on. I expect an e-mail regarding the 3laCk. vs. sQwaL match time by 23:59 GMT Wednesday, otherwise consider your game to be scheduled at 18:00 GMT Sunday as all other forced games have been.

Sad, sad. I think it would be best if admins were more lenient and have taken the second route, because this game could have been special. Finals, nothing less. For such situation, were I an admin I even would be more proactive and consult the caps myself about how things are going on and try to solve problems. If even Rex didn’t answer to Alsef (whether it’s true on not), he would have to answer to an admin, and if not - THEN you would have to take a strict decision. So far seems the admins preferred an easier route and just left the important match scheduling to resolve by itself.

In the end, the whole point is to have a spectacular finale, you are doing this not just to make a cross in a box where it says who won and not just to get rid of the prize money. Now we are robbed of that.

Well it’s not nice but the rules make it clear: If the teams dont find a solution admins set the time. As it seems, Alsef nor Rex did report the admins that there is a problem with the scheduling. In this case, the admin arent the guys to blame.
Anyways, dont bitch too much. If 3lack is so strong that they can face 40shots on the same level, they should win vs sqwal and then we have the real grand final.

I personally joined the cup most of all for fun. To play some etqw again. I think its rly sad how things went and how much fun got took away not only for me and the rest of the 3laCk. team but also for you guys which were waiting for a good final to watch.

Ofc i got some personal problems with rex but in the end who cares? We are both just some guys playing some old game we love named etqw. This cup was for me most of all to get it back to life at least a littlebit and now this tournament which could have been 1 of the greatest things ever to etqw is going so negativ. Its just sad…
