But this just indicates that the map choice doesn’t really matter when it comes to ping difference.

Props go to TBA for actually wanting to have some fun with us being 1 man down. We had a lot of unfortunate events on our side leading up to this match, and being paired with them didn’t make the situation any better. As most of you know, we have competed in quite a few games including ETQW and placed very well in the past at numerous tournaments. We found out about this tournament very last minute (read: day before roster lock) and figured we could get a few of the guys to install the game for one last hurrah and attempt to make a good showing. This, paired with people either unable to find their discs, key/account issues, and then 1 player being out of town for that week and Micahwave being out of town at GoogleIO gave us ZERO preparation time for this tournament. Also taking into account all of us are also playing in the RTCW Legacy Cup (http://binarybeast.com/xRtCW1303300 and http://www.twitch.tv/warwitchtv for casts :smiley: ) and the RTCW cup matches are played on Sunday, left us with very little wiggle room regarding scheduling a game with European players.

Again, that being said we had a blast with the little time we played and I apologize if anyone spectating felt robbed or cut short regarding a ‘good match’. Best of luck to the rest of the teams, and anyone facing TBA.

Thanks for sticking around though, Locked on Target! That match was hilarious to shoutcast, we had a lot of fun, so I’m sure the spectators can at least enjoy the novelty of it. :wink:

And it’s not over yet!! You’ve got some good games coming up in the bottom bracket, you’re not out of the tournament! Double elimination means you can still win 1st place overall coming out of the bottom bracket too.

I was trying to watch the final round, but all of our demos seem to have the snap shot corruption error so I’ll never be able to share my pov on the final obj clutch play :/. Here’s a stats dump from the 5 other rounds- really close stuff. Onyn and ceder have combined stats, but I think Onyn had around 60% of the kills there.

All 5 maps sorted by Kills in descending order.

that was a good match, mann i was watching that last obj, and i think they would have won that if the 2 medics that went into the trasn mit room to protect the other guy, were defending the guy from outside instead of grouping togeather inside the room, but still i didnt think they had time to think it through prperly because of the time, if those 2 guys group tagteam that dude who was running with the nade and the other guy with the lacer they would have had gg or distraccted the 2 guys long enough for the trasnmit. really hoping that onyn would won, but o well it was an even match, just luck and strategy determined the victor. thanks for the stream and shoutcast graver an KORDIN really appreciate it. :slight_smile:

nah we got a pick at stairs so i knew they where going to try and block the door way, so i started to prime a nade to kill transmitter causing the guys in the door way to panic and go for docs while inferno cleans them up.

Makes me LoL, this nade had no way to pass there in time, but as far as I remeber you couldn´t belive it on your own that you made it, so don´t try to be super cool now

GG tho, was really fun to play, what I liked most is that you bet us even tho we played the decider map on EU server, respect for that. And who knows, maybe we meet again :slight_smile:

onyn team should win the losers bracket as far as i can tell, the only team they got to worry about is zuber or bitach but its only gonna be 1 of them cause they r playin eachother. i got money on ur team onyn so dont lose:) an my prediction is u might meet turtle power again. 75% chance. im surprised non cup players except me have no predictions on who will win,
