Tournament update!!

I’m very happy to announce that the prize pool for the tournament just got a little bit BIGGER!!! An incredibly large thank you to d3xter and his friends at rtcwmap.de for the generous contribution! :slight_smile:

As it stands, the prize pool is now up to $200 USD and Dirty Bomb Elite Packs. Remember, there’s still time to donate to the tournament to help increase the prize pool! This is all going right back to the community…a new tournament just got Onyn to bring along his friends to try out our wonderful game, so help us keep spreading the Quake Wars charm! :wink:

And once again, be sure to thank our server admins for taking time out of their busy days to help us make this tournament possible. TAW|, PV, -/-Villa-/-, and [STU] members are going above and beyond the call of duty, so remind them that their efforts are appreciated!

Yeah, we haven’t figured it out yet as to whether it’ll be 2 prize packages (1. $280, 2. DB Elite Packs, first place chooses prize) or if we’re going to split the money for an additional prize (e.g. 1. $xx, 2. $xx, 3. $xx, 4. DB Elite Packs, first place chooses prize, then second place chooses theirs). I’ll provide another update as soon as we’ve figured out how best to split the prizes fairly!!
