Getting the new Update's Raw Weapon Statistics

(Nexolate) #1

I’m a frequent contributer on the Brink Wiki, however I’ve run into a bit of a dilemma recently regarding the new update.

We gathered all of our raw Weapons data from the fantastic work provided by Den Kirson, however that page hasn’t been updated since the game came out. Before this wasn’t too much of an issue, but of course with the new update having performed some pretty significant tweaks on some weapons the information is no longer accurate to an acceptable standard.

Does anyone know any way a client can get access to the raw data? I’ve been unable to get the codes provided on Den Kirson’s blog to work on my machine. Further, if that’s impossible then would it be possible to have a developer from Splash Damage provide the values as of the most recent update? It’s very useful to be able to compare weapons’ performance at such levels.

Thanks in advance,
Nexo

weapons stats / but not updated!!

(jazevec) #3

Why is it that no one makes useful stats like damage per second, or damage per clip ? Why no weapon spread, especially max spread ?

(riptide) #4

There is sufficient information above to attain the dps and dpc numbers.

Interestingly the Damage statistic in game is actually DPS. You can tell because the Euston actually has the lowest damage per bullet of the Assault Rifles, but in game it is the highest because of its higher fire rate.

If it’s useful to you I already posted the updated spread(/accuracy) values

It is very useful. Currently I can use some of these values for Accuracy or redesign the Infoboxes to utilise all the info. I have to ask, how did you get these?

devmap + g_debug…

If I can figure out the how to get the rest I’ll post it also

  • How do you count your sheep so fast ?
  • Oh, but I don’t count them. I count their legs and divide by 4.

Of course, I’ve heard of this before but never thought to put two and two together. Here are my findings, minus Accuracy statistics which you’ve already covered:

Fun stuff. Looks like the Maximus didn’t get a damage increase after all.

That’s disappointing. It’s my favorite heavy weapon.

@Nexolate
Can you link me to the wiki page that stores these post-patch values
I will happily update with the info I’m gathering
Now have equip and unequip timing to add and half of the rate of fire timings

(its al bout security) #13

dont worry about the numbers they are wrong, you cant work a 7 variable problem off a stat site that isnt correct.

There isn’t a wiki page currently, this is all just on a text document. I’m planning on updating the pages today. Also why are you testing equip and rate of fire timings? They weren’t changed in the update and we have the times for those.

I don’t normally pay attention to your messages but this time I have to ask; what the hell are you talking about? It’s one statistic and I’ve checked. It was 32 before and it’s 32 now. No change.

aah give me all the variables your running and give me links and proof to every single source you got.

how do you know it does 32 damage?? just with the given numbers there are view things that can be viewed so how did you come up with these numbers eh??

i saw the old formula they used and it involved 7 variables, not a very easy math problem to prove, give me the expressions you used to find these numbers.

trolololol

(Kalbuth) #17

@It’s all about security : “devmap + g_debug” isn’t a formula to be applied on a stat site.
It’s taking information directly from the game.

(Nexolate) #18

I enabled g_debugHealth and shot a dummy bot. It told me 32 difference in health and showed me before and after HPs. Likely DenKirson did the same thing. So unless you’re suggesting the game code is faulty, it’s 32 damage per shot.

Nexo

EDIT: I can take a pic of the in-game console if you still don’t believe me.
EDIT2: Every other statistic I gathered agreed with the release notes (minus Rokstedi ADS accuracy which was still 0.4).

falso

i need to see the data because i dont believe these numbers, the carb literally changed by one and given what people thing our health is right now they could kill 6 fully buffed heavies without changing a mag, wrong cant be right.

and they said maximus will be doing more damagem when why did your numbers conclude it didnt change? you must have done them wrong or your formula is wrong (ie the reason i want to see his formula)
