aah nice work!

sorry about that last post when i checked there wasnt anything there

soo you should use this console command to find out about damage detection bugs, ill be standing there shooting something and ill see the bullet sparks and such and no damage being dealt. SD kindof flopped on putting that command in??

anyway i saw some morn somewhere, trying to use the stats site as information, he put in all 7 variables into a massive equations and come up with crappy numbers. (As i assumed you where doing)

last but not least good job

Well isn’t that usefull.

I have some hope that the Maximus and Rockstedi will get the changes they are supposed to have before this update hits xbox. Also, I assume the spread/accuracy values are in meters?

(Nexolate) #24

Meters? What? No the accuracy is some form of range on screen. The larger the number, the larger the diameter of the circle on screen.

do you have AP ammo? sparks mean the dude has kevlar…would love to see a real world test (video!) of kevlar equipped dudes getting shot up by different gun/ammo types.

note: i mean a real world test in the game of brink.

Gotcha, thanks. So the circle we see on screen is an accurate representation of where bullets will hit?

(TeoH) #27

You’ll notice it doesn’t change when you increase your FOV, so it can’t be accurate in all settings. It might be correct for the default FOV.

Allow me to make a suggestion.I do not know if this is possible though.

Add the spread for AS and hip aiming so people know what accuracy boost they will get when using AS or not using them.

If you’re talking about the spread for Aim-Down-Sight and Standing accuracies, that information is already covered extensively on Brink Wiki.

i need to see the data because i dont believe these numbers, the carb literally changed by one and given what people thing our health is right now they could kill 6 fully buffed heavies without changing a mag, wrong cant be right.

and they said maximus will be doing more damagem when why did your numbers conclude it didnt change? you must have done them wrong or your formula is wrong (ie the reason i want to see his formula)[/QUOTE]

There are many parameters besides damage, like spread in all different stances and the shape, that bullets are spread. This shape was changed for the carb, which makes it by far less useful now. The damage nerf is just the cream on top of the nerf.

You should read the weapons discussions post by sd staff.
