so after the 5 week event, what do we do should we get a special edition card for a merc that we neither have unlocked nor like? have we just wasted 5 weeks of our lives only to be forced to grind another 30-50k creds for a merc we dont like?
Getting that special edition event card
Move on with our lives? Find something else to play/do for instance?
I got burnt up after 2 weeks of event grinding and wasting credits up to 6 boosters. Sure ain’t gonna be playing DB frequently for a while. My motivation to play DB has been tampered.

Yeah same here, the only reason i still even play dirty bomb atm is because its not 9 may yet(new game) so i need to waste my time on something.
Well considering the case only costs 500 Cycles, I doubt you had to grind that much for it.
Assuming you’re talking about the Culprit case. But yeah, it sucks that this one is RNG once more.

I’ughh… used some 10K credits to convert them into those cycles… I…AM… AN… IDIOT…
Realized too late :’(
You’re in the minority then. The merc which wins will win because it was the most popular.
No the who will win will most likely be an engineer and he will win cause he is more necessary to the game than others with this class system the event was rigged from the beginning

Then why isn’t Bushwhacker winning this week?

Well, BushwaKr is a very special snowflake.
Well you kinda participate by just playing the game, you dont need to do anything special if you don’t wanna. I don’t imagine anyone is forcing you to PLAY
Well, if somebody bought the Culprit Case/ Vengeance Pack already, it’s pretty much buyers fault for buying them before the final week.
Personally I’m waiting to see which merc will most likely win and then buy the pack if I so desire.
Maybe, just maybe, play the game for fun, and not what cards and inventory you get out of it? Treat that part of the game as a bonus.
It really doesnt take long to unlock a merc if you focus on missions either.
@grandioseCutlet you don’t need more than 50% to be the most popular, you just need the highest percentage.

At some point, “the bonus” part of the game is keeping some players.
That’s why they implemented “achievements” in most of MMORPG. Once you’ve cleared every single boss in the game, there isn’t much left to do.
Achievements (i.e: killing the boss in less than XXmn) are there to prolong your game’s life.
The same goes for DB. I am speaking for myself here. The ranked queue is pretty dead after 10PM. Pubs games are often a mess with all the balance issues we know. Right, they add new mercs but it’s been the same maps for ages.
For these reasons I solely play DB when I have missions. Then I use my credits to get some cases and try to get a better rarity than bronze. As weird as it sounds to you, collecting loadouts is something I kind of enjoy. I am not the only one, otherwise there wouldn’t be so many threads about founder cards.

GOTTA CATH’EM ALL!
LOADOUTCARD-MONS!
I am a huge completionist myself, when it comes to video games. Gotta squeeze every value of a game I bought, for hard earned pennies.
I was talking about the fact that you told this guy he was in the minority, he isn’t in the minority if the winning merc has less than 50%
