Getting Maximum FPS in ET

Hi i was just wondering what the Maximum FPs that you can get for ET is and can hold?

I have a decent computer and i cant even always hold 125 fps so im wondering if its config related or if it just isnt possible to get 125 or higher steady

i have a A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard
a AMD 64 3500+
2048 of Corsair XL PRO
120GB SATA HDD
256MB Geforce 6800 ultra
a Antech 480w Powersupply
Logitech Mx518 (as of tommorrow)
and a HP Keyboard

Any ideas i could post up my config if it would help although ive got it tweaked reasonably already

Any suggestions on GFX settings to hold 125 constant or maybe drivers?

im using the Nividia forceware 71.84 driver i think

Sorry can’t help you there. I have a geforce3, and a tweaked config. I get a decent 60-70, which is good enuff for me.
Some have problems with radar and the fps, but I’ve never had any problems on that map. Infact, I like radar.
com_maxfps 76 for you then, perhaps? that’s what I have.

u can get 1000 FPS max …

Anything more than 125 fps steady has no real effect, except for jumping and movement. On some etpro servers, movement and jumping are no longer fps related, meaning that 76fps steady is no better than 333fps steady.

anyone have similar specs and can suggest specific drivers to use >?

ive read through 4 pages of threads from a "fps " search and im still not finding much, all i can think is that it must be drivers i suppose

r_primitives 1 , otherwise you will never have big FPS

I get huge FPS, the only difference from your setup is that I have a 6800GT, not Ultra, I have a 3.2 GHz CPU, and I have Intel not AMD. As for drivers, whatever was current a couple months ago.

u can get 1000 FPS max …

that is crap u can get a max of 333fps before u start to get conection interupted all the time
