GDF airstrike

(signofzeta) #1

I find that there is something wrong with the airstrike. The rockets/bombs drop the wrong way, as in flat side down instead of pointed side down. Hopefully it will be fixed by now.

Or is it supposed to be like that?

Just watch the latest trailer, you’ll see the airplane fly by and drop bombs that are pointed upwards, which does not obey the law of physics.

I totally swore I wrote this somewhere. But typing the word airstrike in the search gave me nothing.

There’s no QW forum other than the general one.

Dont u mean, Jawsome

(signofzeta) #8

hmm if it was flying that low, wouldn’t we be able to shoot it?

(grizzlybear) #9

you can but the black hole caused by the toast/cat event will swallow all your ammo

beware, unload ammo into these portals at your own risk, this is where strogg tapir’s are born :stroggtapir:

Someone should make a mod where someone throws a beacon that calls in tapirs, then tapirs fall from the sky and trample everything. How cool is that?

got a link to see this tom foolery?

(ps1ho) #12

i think tapir’s deserve their own model, they could make an easter egg,for example, so that on certain coordinates you could find a lot of tapirs

(signofzeta) #13

Like in one of the maps, there would be a tapir zoo? That is only accessible through vehicle jumps?

(ps1ho) #14

or, they make a whole map seen from above in shape of a…Tapir

(==Troy==) #15

Hmmm Actually that is true. The bombs are initially horisontal upon the deployement from the craft. And then they have a little time to change their ange a bit to the vertical, so generally speaking they have to land half horisontally, and not upside-down.
