silly. What if a person accidentaly run in too fast? are you saying that the gas should be an auto-gib? What about self-kill from explosives, or a fall to their deaths?

Or just give exp for the first revive from a gas death and none after. Less punishing for playing legit and reviving someone after the gas is gone.
What about using that cheese where your team runs through the gas with 2 Phoenixes and surprises the enemy?
A while back I was in a stream with a guy who recruited people to do level farming. He was convinced that every few levels you’d get a massive amount of credits like you do at level 2 and 4. I tried to tell him the game only gives him a case and he got super snappy with me so I told him to have fun

It only gives a ton of credits at level 100 so make sure to get a head start on that farming!
A millimeter? Don’t you mean 3/64 inch (or something like that)?[/quote]
Considering what I do for a living I prefer metric since it actually makes sense.
There should be a change of rules permitting gas-chamber farmers to do what they do.
Yes, and maybe we should stop spawning in to shoot each other, that’s just unfair! Maybe just take it in turns to blow up the objectives so we can all grind our missions and levels.
Seriously. People that want to do that shit should just go play an MMO.
I trust in the open-mindedness of the community to kick players who show an undesirable way of play and thus formal rules are preceded by unwritten rules by common courtesy.
The developers themselves show a healthy open mind by recommending players to play the objective, support your team and not being a d1ck. These are simply guidelines and are not mandated with penalties for those straying.
Honestly banning them doesn’t fix the problem. What needs to be done is change it so gas either insta-gibs or very least continue doing damage while you’re down so it still gibs.
Why change gameplay and introduce more instagibs (those are sooo fun!) when you can do something that has zero gameplay impact:

I don’t see the problem with a gib in a gas tunnel. If you find yourself in the gas you fucked up and deserve to die. Not like it happens that often anyway. I can’t even remember the last time I died in a gas tunnel.
That form of “farming” isn’t exactly the kind of farming we’re talking about. What you do is more like stealing crops from a farm field and laughing maniacally while being chased by a farmer with a shotgun, only instead of a farmer, it’s Fletcher.

I like my Fletcher with the Blishlok.
Because people unbalance public games by doing this.
I don’t think anybody should be banned but removing the XP from a gas kill or just gibbing them would work perfectly fine. The latter doesn’t really affect gameplay as most people won’t be dying in the gas and those who do will be too far in for a revive from anybody but Sparks anyway.
Also does this actually affect the hidden pub-elo rating. Is it based on K/D or points? If on points, people could get a much higher rating by farming.
