It’s nice to Finally see M1 Garand, but it is really under powered. If your opponent has thompson, in most cases you will end up dead. Since the firing rate is slow, it should make more damage.

A team member always uses the M1 Garand and in one game he went 80 some and like 10. I don’t like the gun but I don’t think in the right hands its underpowered.

What i dont understand is why the thompson is so much more accurate than the garand. I thought full auto machine guns are supposed to be more inaccurate than rifles. I just think its a little stupid how the garand is more inaccurate than the thompson and mp40 when they are full auto and have 30 ammo and can be reloaded whenever they want.

Yes in a thompson vs garand shoot out the thompson will usually win but I think the rifle grenade more than makes up for that. When I play as engie I will always choose the garand over the thompson for this feature and find it to give more of balance when you are travelling in squads.
