I’ve just created the movement system I’ve basically always wanted for UT3.
Your first jump is a static one.
You can control your gravity a little on the double jump by holding spacebar. Just enough to get that bit of extra airtime.
You can do the same with the dodgejump.
Also added a “glide” for when you attempt to jump under the double-threshold.
Well that’s my gameplay idea prototyped. Kinda regret not having played Quake Wars, was always curious about it’s movement system.
