Gamestop pre-order, but no registration code received?

I pre-ordered from gamestop this morning by following the link from this page:

http://www.enemyterritory.com/buyitnow/index.html

I’ve received my pre-order confirmation email from gamestop, but no mention of a registration code, and no other emails. How do you go about getting your registration code?

Sorry, I don’t see another thread dedicated to reporting problems receiving registration codes. I was hoping to get the attention of SD.

Its not really SD’s problem. It would be down to Activision to sort this stuff out. But yeah I think it could be lumped in with other thread as there are already questions of this nature in there. Don’t mean to be harsh dakster, just like to keep my stuff in one place…maybe its just me?!

Anyway…

Called gamestop about this, the guy had no idea what I was talking about in regards to registration codes. He said if they did it, the emails would go out Thursday, because apparently that is when gamestop sends out their emails.

I cancelled my order, and am going to try the bestbuy link. Anyone actually receive their registration codes from either bestbuy or gamestop?

Same EXACT situation for me with my preorder from Gamestop. And yes… Im glad you have a separate thread. The situation warrants a new thread since people are preordering for this specific reason, and there is clearly a problem. Thank Dak.

well I’ve sent an email to support at Activision asking for clarification on this issue, they’re probably swamped with emails so I’m not holding my breath. . . .

Just called my local Gamestop. I made sure we were talking about the same thing. When you go, make sure you get the right thing by mentioning the registration code. The guy knew what I was talking about. I said, “registration code,” & he said, “so you can pre-register your name, right?”

But thats pre-ordering from the actual shop isn’t it? What about on-line pre-orders I believe thats what most people are having problems with.

I’m not sure, but I’d think they’d ship you the pre-reg card, poster, and 2 extra trading cards. I said pre-reg card because I am under the impression that all the information is on a card, but I could be wrong.

i went by gamestop afternoon and preordered. i got a dvd case that had the poster and cards in it and also a card that has my registration code on it.

so i don’t think anyone should be expecting code via email or anything.

In houston i when down to the gamestop since i pre-ordered
my copy last year they said they havent recieved the codes,
cards or posters… yet.
