Game Resolution

I have procured a new widescreen monitor, and was looking forward to playing QW on its native 2048 1152 resolution. To my dismay, there seems to be no option in the configuration menu to run the application at such a high resolution. Now, the game seems a tad blurry when i play it. Would there be any way for me to run it at 2048 x 1152?

Radeon HD 4870 512 megs

It runs the game fine on that resolution?

It performs immaculately on the highest of settings (at that resolution).
visit http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html for a comparison of it to the other high end cards on the market if you are interested. its rather cheap.
