[GAME BUG] Game-breaking XP Glitch/Bug/Exploit

If you put the health station in the front part of the EV, it wont consume it and give you XP like you did place it down, aka you can just spam and get free XP (In 2 minutes you can get up to 13k)

EDIT: apparently throwing health/ammo packs to the machine gun part will also trigger the bug

This guy, as the guy who randomly added me said, invites random people to a server and does the bug (Atleast from what he told me, I think you know what to do in here…?)

I just tried it for science and got 2 mil exp in 1 match

Confirmed on both pub and comp servers. Just stand in front of a tire and tap q. Tested elsewhere, and it only works on the ev, whether or not it’s moving

Just got done with a server in which our Bushwacker, Deablo, had 22 kills on Chapel, but 10k xp, kept doing it with his turret, following the EV. It made a terrible sound, too. I asked him if that was what he was doing and he replied “It was not as though we were going to win anyhow.”

How did you manage to deploy that much? That would be 66,667 deploys in a match at 30 xp per deploy to reach 2 million. If a match is 15 minutes long, that is 900 seconds, which would be 74 deploys per second; 37 per second if the match length were 30 minutes. I can’t press the button so fast. Assuming the server had a ‘match’ with an enemy team, that EV would be under fire for part of the match. How is it possible?

deploy med station 1 time, camp the EV an hold Q, no need to redeploy unless you die. no repeated per second button tapping. It’s on youtube.

There was this one guy doing that too, I wouldn’t mind people abusing this thing at all if it didn’t ruin the match for others. Also he’s being rude, imo this should get punished somehow.

All the games that publicly display player levels had some people that would farm them as effectively as possible.

I fail to see the point, you end up being level 50 with the skills of a level 5.
There’s nothing but shame at the end of this road.

At least that XP gain isn’t as bad as some other i’ve seen. That XP is average for a stopwatch. Did he get any higher than that?

Also that mentality is the reason why people quit mid-game, even if there is a chance to win. I’m not sure why that isn’t a bigger issue to fix, considering it’s why people leave stopwatch comp matches as well. Oh, you diffused the blocker carriage bomb 3 times but couldn’t diffuse it the 4th? This team blows I’m leaving. (A seriously true story in a comp game)

I’m more mad at that mentality than the XP glitch.

Another player here, someone in the server I played in earlier showed me that and I just had to try it for science. This would be so OP if you need support XP for missions. :neutral:

Well, i tried too myself (not farmed like some crazey dudes are doing right now) I don’t see any shame at doing this if every body is doing the same and not actualy playing the party. It doesn’t break any thing compared to the infinite jump or the teleporting thing (that doesn’t work anymore i think)… It’s funny to see how it’s speading out. Like a virus.
If SD doesn’t fix it fast, we will have level 100 in few days :smiley:
Every thing that happen lately to Dirty bomb is a good thing. It will force devs to do some thing fast about this.

So, i thought this is just a myth but the Aura/Ev-glitch is real and tried it out for a moment like 12 seconds and i got 30000 experience points and i was like “WTF”
I won’t do it again cause it is not fun to farm exp on this way and i would say it to all the guys who use it or want to try it “Don’t do it” cause someone reported me already for using hacks and i hope i won’t get a ban for just trying it out =)

I did realize it was one of those posts… I decided to say nothing since it’s not up to me who deserves to get banned or not, or rolebacked, aswell as starting a war in the forums is bad hueuheuh

So somebody was doing this in my game, I tried to block him with my turret as bushwhacker which worked quite well, because he had to move everytime I did it. But he still got like 2mil exp. He then found a spot where he thought he could do it, where my turret wouldn’t reach and he used voicechat to tell me in a pubescent voice that: “Now you can’t block me, bitch”. I managed to find a spot on the other side of the EV where it was possible to place a turret, which meant he was forced to move again. Two other people also joined with aimbot and repeatedly killed everyone on the opposing side. I suppose that about sums up some of the giant problems in this game.

I had a guy introduce me to this bug as well. It’s not fun at all, and the people that just want to do it are ruining the matches… though if you find people doing it, and they just get killed, eventually an actual game breaks out… I tried it and replicated it thinking that I could use it to report a bug, and then found this thread… glad to see that there are honorable gamers out there…
