Fun game is fun! Post if you hate the haters!

I’ve been on these forums for a few days now, and almost everything I’ve read is sarcastic comments about SD and cynicism and pointless arguments between users.

The thing that appalled me most, however, is the number of threads simply stating: “this game sucks because of this and this.” and then either call SD out on what a crappy game they’ve made or post a grammatically incorrect wall of stupid crap they want to see in this game.
How dare these people think THEY control what is in this game, or just call SD INCOMPETENT FAGS? It makes me feel ashamed for them and I hope they don’t care and ignore these stupid threads.
They made this game for you, so if you don’t enjoy it, sure you can post some criticism, but keep it nice, because basically, you’re all biting the hand that feeds you.

I, for one, would like to thank Splash Damage and its employees, and ask them to ignore the stupid CoD fanboys who talk **** about them.

YOU GUYS ROCK!

So let’s all be nice and positive about this game and share your happy feelings so SD can feel good for a change!

But for the gosh of love, where are the online players? And the lagg… So bad! But sometimes it’s perfectly perfect

I would have to agree with the OP. It seems that all forums in the last couple years become a haven for those that dont enjoy a game to come in and start spouting off at the keyboard.

If the game dosnt play the way you think it should then go and Create a game yourself. Let me know how that goes for ya. If you demand and hate on a company for their hard work it is a safe bet they are going to ignore anything you have to say.

If a game isn’t good it will have more people on it’s forums talking about why it’s a bad game.

If a game is good, it will have more people just discussing elements of the game.

This was going to be a thread where we expressed our love for the game and thanked SD, in return to all the haters.

No doubt, Brother. Particularily in the gaming industry. I read reviews for the material in the review so I can possibly draw my own conclusion after reading several of them. The actual score given is often a number I don’t agree with for one reason or another, and thus not that important in the overall scheme of things. It’s the quality of the info itself and the objectivity of that info that really matters.

You can’t hate CoD im afraid, as CoD has essentially the same soul as BRINK, aka the ID Tech engine. only difference between both games is the gametypes. Unfortunetly the many incarnations of the ID tech engine have been geeting progresively worse and worse as time goes on. I commend splash for making an inovative game, especially the SMART sytem and map design (forget the character customisation, lets be honest its got bugger all to do with gameplay quality and thats for the kids). considering that kind of movement sytem is an extremely hard thing to pull of, they did a great job.

However the performance issues are a concern and need to be addressed, because comon, lets be honest the gfx quality is not that great and there are games out there that look 5 times as good and perform 5 times better. the game has serious issues, that being said im confident and hopefull splash will fix this on PC and other platforms.

To the OP, yea ppl comparing this game to call oo duty are actually correct in doing so wether they realise it or not, they both use the same engine, only slightly modded.

Gromit, first of all, why do you start about engines and all? F that SH! I wasnt talking about that!
Second, I’m not saying they compare it. They want it to be more like CoD (indirectly) with their NADES NEED A BUFF WE WANT KDR ON SCOARBOARD etc.
