Hello, this is going to be my personal opinion and suggestions for this game.
First of all the OVERVIEW : This game is HORRIBLY UNBALANCED. 
Okay so if you are a fanboy and don’t want to improve this game, you can stop reading NOW.
Now first of all,
Why the hell does every gun in this game have identical (nearly) DPS.
I mean SMG’s, AR’s and MG’s everything has nearly identical DPS.
So everyone is gonna ask, what is the problem in that.
Now the main problem in that became an issue in the last patch. (Atleast for me)
The feature is called “Damage Drop-Off”.
This made everything highly unbalanced. Ask why… I am gonna elaborate…
Consider a SMG with 120 DPS.
Consider a AR with 120 DPS.
Now… Consider a fight at 10m distance where there is no SMG damage dropoff. So both players have equal chance of winning the fight.
Now… Consider another fight at 50m distance where the SMG has maximum damage dropoff. Now the AR has a significant advantage over the SMG.
the point–> SMG is good in close range… AR is good in Close range AND Long range.
Where is the balance in that ?
Even with all the same DPS, the spread on SMG is less, AR also have very little spread, Machine guns have lots of spread.
Now spread system is kind of OK but DPS is not.
For every gun to be balanced there are 2 ways which can be gone.
- Remove damage falloff.
- Balance DPS as following
i) SMG --> Low spread, High DPS, Low range
ii)Assault Rifle --> Some spread, Lower DPS ( than SMG ), Good Range
iii)Machine Gun --> Huge Spread, VERY HIGH DPS, Good Range
The whole point of the balancing is, as each merc is used for different situations, different weapons need to be situational. There is no point in game if a AR can dominate SMG in all ranges.
