Hypno, you lost me lol, sorry. Are you saying I should be seeing them as I shoot enemies ? Because maybe I’m not looking in the right corner of the screen.
No you don’t see them anywhere in-game. The damage values are in the game files, and some nice people dug them up and put them at the wiki page:

Weapon stats aside, I clan mate said he actually sees the damage he does to enemies real time. It gets displayed to him. Unfortunately I forgot to follow up with him about that.
I believe he said it tells him “You did x damage to y.”
When you kill an enemy it shows you how much damage you done to him in total up to his maximum hp.
So if you kill a full health sawbones it says “[Weapon]Sawbones’ Name +Number” and the number is the damage you did to him and the xp you get.

I play for multiple months now and actively use this forum/browse the WarChest forum and many videos/other media about the game. I’ve yet to see anyone showing or speaking about a visible damage feature in-game aside the “How much damage you dealt to someone when you killed him/her”
Well, he has nearly 400 hrs. spent in the game.
Idk if that’s sarcasm or not… :I

No. He has almost 400 hrs. according to steam.

Ah, thank you.

The only unbalanced thing in this game is the PDP, Ahnuld, and team balance.
And like Renpsy said, the guns are restricted to mercs. If you’re playing a merc that has SMGs, playing at range is most likely not how it is supposed to be played.
Well Thunder is unbalanced in that he’s too bad. And what’s so bad about the Ahnuld?
Have you seen the range on that shit fam?
It’s too much.
sorry i wasnt online for a bit time, so continuing…
everyone calling me a noob, so be it
DIFFERENT WEAPONS ARE MEANT TO HAVE DIFFERENT MECHANICS.
I feel every weapon much same as dps is same ( except MG’s as they have sky high spread till you learn to control by tap fire)
Medics arent supposed to kill a sniper at 10Km range (LOL) with a SMG.
SMG’s usually have high spread (something known as realistic-ity), well I know health stations arent realistic either but weapons could be…
EDIT>>I accidentally typed low spread for smg on my op.<<
SMG should be rendered useless par short range, well not exactly useless, but YES you can kill a still standing noob a little far in a few seconds.
AR’s have moderate recoil with good accuracy over mid-longish range.
MG’s are just powerhouses for crowd control with high spread, damage and recoil but more range.
Guns for medics are for self defense and short range rush offense not to snipe people while camping on their health stations.
Why do you think they gave medics SMG’s and AR’s to heavier mercs ?
So that every gun dps could be same and anybody has 0.5 chance of killing anyone ?
Thats not called balance pls.
I think devs are either not done with their Range system or IDK if they even want to.
Consider if every merc were the same ? will you call that balance.
Here every gun is the same. DPS very same, spread different, recoil different.
why should anyone use a k121 if they can have same DPS (almost) as a KEK (if they could be equipped on the same merc ). Except for the fact that different mercs are used for their abilities not their guns. So GUN is of no importance here, eventhough it is a fps. Call that balance.
I’m too lazy to read through everything, but I imagine from op that the point is that guns are too similar. No they’re not, imagine fragger with a tolen. Bam, looks goofy, SD 1 naysayers 0!
Every game I ever played (including recoil simulator, aka CS) had SMGs as the low-recoil guns. I don’t get where you have the ‘usually high spread’ thing from, sorry.
Wait…I recognize the pattern you use…Battlefield isn’t a good shooter, sorry.
Also, please leave the fuck out. Guns don’t have the same DPS. Period.
In simple words one more time…
MANY GUNS
Same DPS, Different recoil,spread.
No balance.
I am focusing on DPS mainly.

You’re still wrong.
There are 2 ARs and one pistol with the same DPS, 1 pistol with the same DPS as an AR, 1 SMG with the same DPS as one AR, 1 pistol with the same DPS as an SMG and 2 pistols with the same DPS out of 28 weapons.
7 cases out of 28. By my math it ain’t “MANY GUNS”
Basically according to what you are saying, all guns should have the same damage, but vastly different capabilities based on range. Why should a medic not be able to kill a sniper at range? What is your basis, and where in this game is this 10km range you are referring to? Are you trying to apply realism to this game? And what are you using to calculate dps?
Other than the Sniper is supposed to be good at long range and the Medic is better at close range???
This thread isn’t really going anywhere good so I am going to close it. Sorry folks.
