Could someone please list possible reasons for the frequent server disconnects.
They seem to be completely at random but I have have counted 7 in the last 2 days, always after playing several maps. I play on numerous servers. I test my connection immediately afterwards and it’s fine. When spectating other teammembers I generally see at least one member of my team with the connect icon flashing (sometimes more), so I assume that this problem is affecting quite a number of people.
I’m not sure how interested I am in playing a game which requires such a sizable time investment to build up in level, yet frequently leaves me staring at the flashing connect icon in disbelief just as I’ve gotten my abilities up to snuff (or worse yet, 30 seconds before the end of a campaign as happened just a few minutes ago). At that point, my enjoyment is shot and I go play something else.
In your opinions: How much of this stems from the game? Or is it the servers? Are a lot of servers crashing ingame? Could our connections to the server be causing this?
Why aren’t more people talking about this? Like I said, I see that connect icon flashing a LOT when spectating, and I would estimate my own disconnects at between 30 and 50 times.
