Fragger is balanced, except for one major thing

Regarding his nades, change the voice lines to play WHILE cooking the grenade. This way if people hear it they can either punish Fragger right away or clear out before he can throw the nade.

I’d even argue maybe increasing the cook time a tad and adding some new voice lines

“Stand back, this is going to get messy”

“Frags away maniacal laugh

“Fresh Pineapple, coming up!”

That’s all I could come up with…I am sad :frowning:

As a massive Fragger player, I feel like this seems fair. Might promote staying around team mates to cover your ass while you take cover to cook that pineapple.

Grenades and explosives in general have been nerfed enough IMO. I do love the suggestions for new lines though :slight_smile:

Couldn’t really disagree more about Fragger being balanced. Even without his nades is still incredibly good for two reasons. He has an insane healthpool of 150 making incredibly hard to take down, and along with that he has arguably the two best weapons in the games being the M4A1 and the K-121 making him effective at all ranges, so there’s no real counter against him.

Compared this to Rhino who is also another really tanky assault merc, but is really limited by range since he can only equip shotguns and his ability being insanely high spread on; making him a balanced mercs with strengths and weaknesses.

In a straight up fight against all other mercs Fragger will come out victorious if they’re all on a equal skill level; and I don’t think this is good game design.

Assault classes are defined by being OP in certain situations, but Rhino and Nader are tempered by players being able to counterplay their abilities in fairly obvious ways. It’s far more obnoxious to deal with a Fragger pineapple not really because there’s no warning, because at a certain point you can anticipate and bait them out. It’s the fact that you are always having to bait out the grenade because it’s instant death if you don’t, and then you have roughly a 17 second window to deal with a highly mobile 150 HP M4 merc who’s waiting for you to come in.

Before anyone can suggest changes for Fragger though, lets wait for Thunder’s release and see the state of Assault classes overall

Second slowest in the game is highly mobile? What kinda standard are you going by?

You realize Fragger’s movespeed according to the wiki is at 385, while Skyhammer and other 120HP mercs are at 400 and Rhino is at 350? On top of that, Rhino has zero mobility when he’s actually firing his minigun, while Fragger is free to dart in and out and wallhop while shooting his M4 or cooking his grenade

2nd slowest in the game for sure, but 15 less movespeed isn’t a big deal at all. Just compare Aura/Sparks to Proxy/Kira (20 speed difference) or Fletcher to Phantom/Bushwacker (10 speed difference)

@Ritobasu I see this alot, people forget a very imrpotant thing,
Fragger Has the 3rd biggest Hitbox in game (thunder has the 2nd biggest) he has a large HP but he can get hti easier, Proxy has 90 hp and peopel sya she is very weak, but she can almost dodge bullets with sucha small hitbox

@astoundingShellfish Fraggers hitboxers are pretty much identical to Skyhammer, only looks that he’s way larger because of his massive backpack.
