Anyone know a few good tips that will make my FPS better? I have a very good video card, but my FPS are usually around 33-40. Makes it hard to aim sometimes

what are your computer’s specs. ?
what settings are you using for ‘in-game’ ?

Well, are you familiar with using configs and tweaking it? Making the graphics uglier and shit? I can’t believe I just said shit. It was a completely subconscious thing. Sheet.

30-40 fps? A good videocard? I don’t think so. Even I got 30-40 FPS on a GeForce 2 MX400 64 MB at medium 800x600. Then I have around 100-130 FPS with my ATI Radeon 9600Pro EZ 256 MB in ET 1024x768 highest details.

The rest of my system is next:
AMD Athlon 1800+ clocked at 1900+ (gets unstable when i get higher :|)
512 MB DDR 266 (when I used the GeForce) and 1024 MB DDR 266 (when i upgraded with my gfx to 9600)
7200 rpm Maxtor 40GB
Win XP Pro SP2

I don’t know what detail you are using but I don’t think your GFX is as good as all. I think ur still on Geforce 4/GeForce FX/Radeon 7000-9200) or maybe very high settings and res on Radeon 9500+/Radeon X300SE/Geforce 6200.

Try to install new drivers for ur graphics card and tell us ur card.
