FPS Drops? Let us know your details!

(Cr4zy) #101

So my problem seems to be something software related on my main PC, my alt PC with same GPU manages to keep a constant 90%+ GPU usage ALL game. My main just never goes to 90%+ after the first minute or so.

The following is from me playing the game on my main PC while spectating me playing that game on my second PC, As such the things occuring between each game is identical, both on low, same drivers etc, yet the usage varies insanely meaning one is 180+FPS and the other makes out at 120 if im lucky.

(Tobben) #102

My config:
win 8.1 64bit
Prosessor Intel® Core™ i5-4430S CPU @ 2.70GHz
8gb RAM
GeForce GT 630

FPS: 20-25 on low setting.

:frowning:

(misspo) #103

Hi, GeForce GT 630 ? I do think the time have come to make a little investment
You have enough rame (ddr3?) and your cpu is good.
But you 30 euros video card  You can find an already used at 100e.
I would say, try to unpark your cpu and OC your cpu but you will not be able to OC cause it’s a “S” cpu :frowning: . Look on the forum for some very low cfg. Don’t forget to use one frame interval on

(Tobben) #104

Update: 65-75fps with win 10, same setting :open_mouth:
Feels like a new game

(MULKMULKMULKMULKMULKMULKMULK) #105

fps is low when game is active but high when it isn’t… It’s still rendering it but :disappointed:

Hi MissMurder,

Any updates on the progress of fixing this issue?

I’ve been in contact with GM Radrodo about for a couple of months. He just recently told me that they’ll keep looking into it and closed my ticket.

As much as I love DB, this issue severely hampers my enjoyment of the game and desire to keep coming back.

Is there any resolution in sight?

Hi there!
Since early november (or since I installed windows 10, can’t tell for sure) I’m expierencing nasty frame drops.
They occur only after 1-2 hours of gameplay and will slowly increase. At first the game just feels spongy and I’m noticing that I can’t hit properly.
When I first notice those frame drops, I’ll have 10-20 minutes before the game get’s unplayable. Even in menus it’s laggy as hell.
Also with mentioning: Some minutes after the first minor (constant) drops my audio starts cracking. At some point it completely vanishes completely for at least 10 sek. With more heavy problems. These audio problems appear on my whole computer allthough not my whole computer has performance issues.

My system specs:
Mainboard - ASRock Z87 Pro7
CPU - Intel i7 4790K
Graphics card - GeForce GTX 770
RAM - 16GB
Headset - Logitech G35
Operating system - Windows 10

Would be nice if I could get some help or if I can help you guys with this report

I’m playing some hours on >144 FPS and ~10ms frametine and then, at some random time(somtimes hours, sometimes minutes after start) my FPS drops to ~100FPS and 20-30ms Frametime. I’ve got an 144Hz Monitor so the drop is really noticable.

i5 4690; MSI GTX 970; 16GB RAM; WIN 10 x64

Is there allready a fix and i’m just missing it or still wip?

(ShadowZ) #112

MY FPS drops every 20-40mins of being in game. Have tried new Graphic drivers and have verified game cash. I have played this game fine for over 5 months, and this is the first type of FPS problem I have had.

GTX 760, i7, 12GB RAM, Windows 7

(SiegeFace) #113

Just got my new PC built, and getting absolutely god awful performance.

New Specs
I7 5820k
EVGA 980Ti 6GB SC
Corsair DDR4 2133Mhz 16gb RAM
Asus X99 Pro Motherboard
Seasonic 860w 80+ Platinum PSU
Windows 7 64 Bit

Struggling to hit 40fps on low settings in game while the main menu is laggy as hell although reporting above 300fps there… latest nvidia drivers (should i rollback?)

On my old system, above 100fps constantly…

Old specs for reference.

I5 4670k
Sapphire R9 280x
Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600Mhz 16gb RAM
AsRock Fatality Killer Z97 Motherboard
Corsair CX750 80+ Bronze PSU
Windows 7 64 bit

and in both systems
2x Crucial SSD’s
3x Seagate Barracuda’s…

Also did complete reinstall, everything is fresh as a daisy.

Same issue in other games?

A framerate that low makes it seem like the gpu isn’t being utilized fully or at all. You could try a clean installation of the latest nvidia driver if you haven’t already. With similar hardware I have 100-120 fps on low settings.

(kittz0r) #116

just started to play some DB again and well i have now random FPS Drops to like 80 from 150-200 FPS… it also seems laggy even with 200FPS in Game and 900 FPS in the menus.

Well atleast after i edited my CFG again the drops occurs not that often anymore.
