I have a mid to high-level rig. I have all graphics levels on max and pre-update I was getting 178 FPS.
post update I am all over the place between 60 and 160FPS.
Anyone else having FPS drops?

OK, I may have mistyped that. I have low to mid-level rig.
Point is I was getting 178 fps before and now I’m jumpy with 100 fps swings.
I have
Processor Intel® Core™ i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz
Video Card AMD Radeon ™ R9 390 Series 8GB ram
RAM 16 GB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 16299), 64-bit
VideoCams, semi-old wheels, paddles, joy sticks, yokes, pedals and the like.
Some analogue mice…
Maybe non-digital microphone
No, I did put in a fire wire card to transfer old camcorder video, but it is the digital 8 tapes.
I think that is digital not analog and the camera is not currently plugged in.
Have you played today?
Is your FPS that same?
Try doing a clean install of graphic drivers, google it if you need more info.

This may make things esier.
Agree! I have noticed FPS stutters and inconsistencies too since the latest update.
Sadly, I did not check the FPS on the spot as the console is now made unavailable. I will do a check with the steams fps counter and edit this.
But, visually I can say with certainty that the fps drops are there.
My drivers are updated. I have verified the game files. Put settings on minimal etc. But still, notice them.
Before the update, I got 120 fps on medium settings. Now I feel like I am not scoring that even on minimal.
Confirm that the game is using your dedicated and not an integrated gpu. The console can still be opened, you have to activate it in the settings under language first, though.
Hi, in my case had fps stutters and sounds missing but since I deleted my config folders then verified files via steam the stutters disappeared. But I also downgraded my visual settings so…

The game is using my dedicated GPU. I am on a 64bit system, well that is obvious. The drivers are up-to-date. I have a Radeon card, I have set the graphics profile to performance. Still, the FPS is not stable. Sometimes it reaches 120 FPS but sometimes it falls back to near 60. I cannot spot any specific area in the game which causes this, it seems to occur randomly. I will try some more tricks that I know and see if they help.
I know that you think your is using dGPU but it’s not. I confirmed same bug(?) on 3 different laptops and one PC with integrated GPU.
Go to nvidia control panel and set exe to use dedicated card. It fixed issue for me, my friend and my gf.
This is throwing me. my radon card says it is using my GPU, but it also says that most effects are turned off. I feel like mine is using the onboard video, but I cant figure out how to switch it.
Then if it is a desktop and your monitor is plug on the GPU, for sure it will be used. Maybe try an older driver?
I’m almost ready to give up. The lowered gaming experience from the drop is significant. I have been messing with the settings and goofed them up. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. nothing.
