There’s a problem with a thread:

It’s not possible for me to go to the last page.
Always:

May be it’s too big.

I just tried it out and it added my post to the end of 27. I suppose it will sort itself out with enough posts.

Ive often seen this occur due to people making posts that open new pages, and then deleting those posts.

Although I guess you know the search function is b0rked, it seems to work partially. Searching for the word “tapir” (Thank god it’s so common) will only return the threads since the forum went back up again.

So maybe some search index got removed and must be rebuilt, or we’ll need to bump all the interesting threads once they’re found again.

The search index needs rebuilding. It only contains the data added since the database restore, not anything from the old snapshot.

I thought it would have been something along the lines of that…

I can imagine that rebuilding it will be quite resource-heavy, so please inform us when it’s running and when it completed.
