I think the clue is in the name
For Us CTF Freaks
Back to the topic⌠as Null already said: CTF should be done with scripting, hence there could be CTF maps in QW (there are some in ET) if some mapper is going to map one.
For my part CTF is a lot faster and more flexible than obj based maps, and a lot more challenging when playing against good players.
If some good mappers are going to do CTF maps for QW they surely will be fun.
Yeah like McNite said it can be done with map scripting.
Double objective maps (both teams attacks) are a fun addition to traditional maps. Like we have for ET: Baserace, 2Tank by 2BIT and that Dam or something that was ported from RTCW for example.
These type of maps are like CTF Deluxe⢠Team just dont go out and get a thing to homebase, there are objectives to blow or construct along the way to victory.
Or like in 2Tank map both teams tries to escort their own tank to base from opposite sides of map and enemy team can frag the engys, destroy the tank and build obstackles etc.
So when you have enough these double objective maps for ETQW you can make a âCTFâ server.

Oi I said that first!
I never get credit
When itâs released, someone should make a capture the launch codes map⌠both teams have to capture each others launch codes and get them back to base and transmit to HQ before the other
