That’s very true, but realistically I expect SD was looking more for testers that understood the job description rather than just wanting to play the game right away. I’d much appreciate pre-alpha testing to more regularly include community members, but when a large majority of invites in a limited test don’t or can’t put in the time… well it’s not very professional.

I have always tried to play on the weaker side in most games I play, but I especially think it’s most important in pre-alpha. I don’t really have the motivation to play just for the sake of winning via stacking as it doesn’t effectively expose issues nor is it important, but I’ll admit it is hard to break the habit of certain people following their friends. If one side is simply being spawn camped and it can be helped, I would really like to see people even it up if possible. In a lot of cases games tend to get carried by 2-4 players on a server as well, which makes it tough. This is why I’ve enjoyed pugs the most so far.
