Flying Tank

Lately I saw the tank flying over the bridge (sorry no screenshots).
The Allies build the bridge but got killed, an Axis Engi planted at the bridge, but Axis couldn’t destroy the tank before it starts to move as the Allies reinforced. Then the bridge was destroyed, but tank moved on, over the destroyed bridge.

I had a good one the other day, I was an Allied C-Ops, got onto the Axis Hill at the start through the sewer, went into the tower, knifed te guy at the top and stole his uniform, then I blew up the tower… Leaveing the De-panted Axis guy floating in mid air.

Unfortunately Me and a Medic I was with were to buisy looking at this and lol’ing over chat that the guy respawned and shot us boath in the back…but

I have witnessed that many times. If dead guy is in the tower when you destroy it, he stays in air.

I guess I can go experiment with this on my own but…

If you are not dead and you are standing in tower when it blows, do you die instantly or fall to the ground (suffering falling damage which kills you)? Not that it matters, I’m just curious.

As long as we are musing on the tank and its ability to fly…

In this pic it would appear that the tank’s turret has flown away!

I didn’t get a chance to try to man the MG. Well, I did have a chance but I grabbed a demo instead (from where this snapshot was taken). It would have been amusing to see some guy standing on top firing a machine gun without the turret.
