I’d be more hyped about a Fletcher loadout with both Springy, Flying Pig and Lock On/Quick Draw, everything with a SMG loadout. Now that would be a loadout I’d play the hell out of it. Especially if the SMG in question is SMG-9 or Hochfir, but I don’t think I’ll get anything but the Blishlok.

That’s cool and all but it’d be even cooler if they perhaps added another SMG to his arsenal. Like the SMG 9 for example.

If not that then shotguns need some further tweaking, like higher rates of fire, less pellets but tighter spread, things like that.

The primary problem with Fletcher is that his main weapons aren’t so great, and at the same time, his stickies are incredibly frustrating because he always has them ready to go.

This is why Fragger was nerfed wasn’t it? To reduce the nades and therefore increase the skill floor needed to use his nade effectively? Same thing could be argued here, but the problem is Fletcher would need some buffs to make him more effective, like +10 health and his guns would need to be more viable. The secondaries are fine, but the primaries need work.

Splash Damage will apply the AOE Decrease including, unexpected changes.

  • Longer Cooldown per Sticky Bomb
  • Longer Priming/Arming time on Sticky Bombs.
  • Less Damage per Sticky Bomb.
  • 2% Faster movement speed on the EV.
  • Lower Sticky bomb count to 2.

@triteCherry when they annouced the 2nd gen cards people asked if mercs would be getting new weapons, eg thunder getting k121 and fragger getting mk42. SD said no they would not

Personally, I don’t have a problem with Fletcher in his current state. He has a huge skill ceiling. Good Fletcher’s dominate, bad Fletcher’s don’t. If they nerf him, he’ll probably become a potato.

We had similar problems with Phantom, but the nerfed him to oblivion. I hope SD doesn’t nerf Fletcher to such an extent where Fletcher isn’t Fletcher anymore
