Ok so, atm ideas are:
-Reduce numbers of stickies
-Increase cooldown
-Reduce non stuck damage
About the competitive play of Fletcher, I don’t know about it, because I don’t play Fletcher in comp.
Fletcher is versatile, ok but why can he defuse/arm objectives, kill people, doing area denial, trap people, destroy EV… It’s not what he has to do as an engineer. That’s one of the issues.
Proxy and Bush can only trap people and doing the objective, not being too offensive. Mercs are specialists in one or two of these things, one can’t do all these thing, or it’s not balanced, and everyone must take him, because he is too versatile.
Maybe, Fletcher users who’re playing him in comp should help us finding some possibilities to nerf the spam and reward skill (as Eox did).
I like playing Fletcher sometimes, but all I want is to make him more hard to play to reward skilled people who can well play him. If you’re one of these skilled players, then the nerf will not change your gameplay.
