I saw a lot of nasty reviews this morning on my RSS reader but these all seem pretty decent. I guess I’ll see for my self when I get off work this evening.

Yes I knew there were just a bunch of haters out there, ten more minutes and this game is mine! Woo hoo!

Most of the mediocre and bad reviews I’ve read are for the 360 version, and were written before the day one patch was released, and a lot of their issues seem to be with things the patch is supposed to fix (such as the network issues, visual problems, etc…).

I know some sites, like GameInformer, are waiting until they play post-patch, so I’m curious if those tech issues are what were holding the reviews back.

Also, it makes me wonder how they can do their reviews knowing that a day one patch was imminent. Some of the reviews don’t even mention the patch!

Since games are art and much of enjoyment of a game like Brink is dependent on how the people you play with behave, I imagine reviews will be all over the place.

Some people are feeling deceived about there only being one main mode, I don’t understand how you could be deceived… SD said from the get-go that there is one game mode with drop-in drop out co-op/multi.

The COD bar-filling addicts will moan that there aren’t enough bars to fill and how they can’t be heroes all the time and you have to work as a team to win.

And I guess there are issues on PC depending on which way you have your “rig” set up.

I wish my copy would get here already!

I’m glad I read these posts first and did not open my game yet. I’m tired of dropping $65.00 on poor games. I will be taking this back and getting a refund. I hate being scammed.

I hate being scammed.[/QUOTE] i love seeing people who only post to say how they were let down, or how poor the game is… no one cares that you dont want the game. just go sell it if you dont like it. also how is it a scam? is it a scame because someone told you it was or because the game is not what you expected?

Oh wait. I found most of the people complaining are the consoler BFBC and MW2 players. the ones who like CSS and just wanna run and die. thinking confuses them. ET has always suffered from these mindless players. Hell even Progressive TC confused people in Frontlines and homefront. THERES nothing new the gmaemodes are all the same. ET you just have class specific objectives. is that hard? is it hard to pick different classes and work as a squad. YES! I have always been kicked or accused on pub servers for working with my squad in BF2,2142. Thats partially why I left. We played like it a squad and played like it should and kicked butt, but everyone was all DERP, “LAGGG, HACKS”.

I Say there is no way you could get scammed or this is not what you expected cuz its all there in the demo videos that were released months ago. BRINK IS WHAT SD ALWAYS DREAM ET WOULD BE. and it is great.

Im glad this game is getting some good reviews. I hope you guys can add more maps and fix some of the issues of map layout especially certain choke points.

Also from what ive heard, the bots are stupid and get stuck, yet a few reveiws praise how smart they are. Im still so confused about these AI…
