Great Update … my performance goes from 240fps down to 100,gg SD…make more of some stupd updates or better…go offline with this game…

no ranked play for 4 weeks…no more priv matches…hundreds of players are leaving…tztz

i pumped over 600 euros in this game…and 4 what? …4 Nothing…

…you spent 600 Euros on a Beta?

And for the record my game has crashed LESS since the update, still haven’t seen hackers in at least a month, and my FPS hasn’t changed at all.

Yes but a good Bushwhacker isn’t dropping his turret 2 inches away from the original spot. If you drop a turret and INSTANTLY pick it back up, you will wait 10.5 seconds instead of 6. THis is a punishment for poor turret placement. If you place your turret well, it will be sitting waiting for the enemy for some time, or it will get into a firefight. A SHORT firefight will either wipe your turret, wipe you (your cooldown resets before spawn in most of these cases), or you’ll wipe an enemy or two. If you’re not close to the turret, that’ll be several more seconds of running. All in all, in a quick exchange you’ll have spent some seconds leaving your turret placement, fighitng off enemies, then going back to it, which would consume I’ll 15 or 20 seconds. Now when you pick it up you wait 4 seconds instead of 2 to drop it again. If you’re being smart, like you said, you’re moving it away from its last location, which will easily take 4 seconds to do.

So seriously… what is there to whine about?

Dropping a turret then near-instantly picking it back up does not correlate to bad placement. I’ve used it before to block shotgun shots, sniper shots, doorways. Dropping it as an extra bit of fire support and getting a pick in a 1v1 you otherwise would have lost and then reclaiming it to repair it. All good usage with a quick pick up. It was a big nerf and very unnecessary.

When you pick it up to repair it, the cooldown is proportional to the damage it takes from ennemies. So added cooldown is not the purpose here.
These changes in all cooldown and xp are to avoid farming like placing turret, then pick it up, then placing turrets then pick it up… You got the idea.
With longer cooldown, it’ll not be worth farming this xp.
It’s not an intentional nerf. All stat are subject to change. Imagine when they nerfed revivr or frag grenade, people where complaining and now almost everyone is fine with it.
Only problem here is the ability of bushwacker which is hard to master. But the cooldown will not change it at all. Only the placement can get you many kills.

And clearly it’s not meant to be used like this. They want it to be a sentry, not a bullet shield, so players who are using it like this are being punished. Now you’ll have to play the game like everyone else, without a random bullet shield.

Turtle’s shield will be the only one.

It’s not like it’s a very strong bullet shield though - it’s a clever way to make use of your ability in a desperate situation. And anyway, Bushwhacker is still underpowered in combat against most mercs (such as pretty much ANY merc with a Stark) so if he can use interesting tricks like this to even the odds then that’s a GOOD thing, for both players and spectators to appreciate.

It’s not the priority, I agree, but it’s easy to implement, then it’s a good thing they did this.
Fixed server will never become reality, I prefer them to add something rather than trying indefinitely to fix server. Maybe one day they will, but they need caring on others issues too. They’re more than one. They can do many things at the same time.

Ps: can’t quote on mobile. This thing must be fixed ffs.

People always have and still will do this, particularly with ammo stations. So just because of this ‘nerf’ doesn’t make it any less of a reasonable usage, it just punishes people who know how to use deployables for more than just their face value.

I don’t know, I’ve always liked it when someone uses a deployable in a firefight because I know I’ll win. I don’t shoot at the legs and chest region so deployables don’t block my incoming shots and the opponent is down all the rounds that could have been fired in the second it takes to go through a deploy animation. I actually can’t remember the last time I lost a firefight against a player that dropped an ammo/heal/turret deployable at the start/middle/end of the firefight.

Aura is actually the only merc who needs some xp nerf, but even Bushwhacker was nerfed stronger than Aura.

REALLY good to see that the voting keys have been changed to Page Up and Page Down - FAR too many times we see people voting the wrong way on a vote because they’re trying to change mercs with F1 or F2.[/quote]

I was gonna put this in bug report, but I figured I’d might as well put it here. Why do you say something is fixed, when it’s clearly not? This is still a problem. Playing 30 mins of stopwatch trying your best to get the win, and when you win, you get a draw. Logic? @NxA_Noxie @RazielWarmonic
