Not talking about splash damage coming in from air strikes outside .
I’ve wondered about this for a while now. Haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere. When a field op throws his air strike grenade indoors, obviously the pilot reports he can’t see the target and aborts, but the thing still blows up (or there’s a “false” initial air strike explosion?) and gives off about a nade’s worth of damage all by itself.
Why?
Am I wrong and it’s not just a smoke nade? It has an explosive component to it as well? Or is that just the way the game code is written and it has to give off an initial explosion before it aborts?
The nade’s damage itself should be disabled indoors if it’s possible.
Anyone?
