another bug which wasn’t in RTCW.

FO, trying to do fire for effect, however the target is under a ledge… “can’t see target”… however, if i keep pressing fire and queue up 20 "can’t see target"s, and then target in open space i still hear the first 20 "can’t see target"s before i finally hear “firing for effect”

in RTCW it wouldn’t queue up the “can’t see target” sound effects.

This is indeed one of the most annoying things in ET.
The same with all those guidelines that are played when a certain action is done:

example on battery:

  • Forward bunker is taken by the allies
  • That stupid audio is telling us axis what to do (defend this, defend that, do this, do that…)
  • in the mean time the bunker is already taken back by the axis. This takes 20 seconds untill this is announced?
  • there could even have been a plant somewhere without us being alarmed on time :frowning:

There is no way to know for sure WHEN an action is ACTUALLY occured :frowning:
Also the delay on the echo’s is a pain in the ass imo.
