Feedback on Redeye.

His movement speed is too fast for game balance. He should be just a tad ahead of Rhino’s movement speed so he can’t outrun anyone while he’s being chased in his own smoke.

Further, he should be given less ammunition capacity so he can’t be trigger happy with a two HS kill. That’ll make him dependent on Arty, Kira or SkyHammer

Given the amount of ammo being dropped by Arty or Skyhammer in pubs… I’d rather not have that happen to anyone.

Speed is dependent on health. If you want him as slow as Rhino, he needs the health of Rhino.

Spamming with the SR is a great way to get killed. The gun punishes you badly for spamming.

Well, with this idea, why is Fragger slow then? Cause he’s carrying a LMG? Not all the time. Besides, his pic shows he’s aged.

Fragger is slow because he has 150 hp. Proxy is slower than Aura because she has 10 more hp than Aura.

Redeye is perfectly balanced as he is, he doesn’t need to be nerfed. I’m unsure of how his kukri performs, so this is talking from using loadouts without that.

Edit: He actually requires some skill to use effectively and can’t rely so much on luck as say Phantom was pre-nerf (which I consider his nerf to have been too much still). Redeye counters both enemy Redeyes and Phantoms quite well.

Kukri range sucks but the damage is nice. Plus the right click animation is beasty.

Redeye actually seems balanced for a new Merc but we will see in the upcoming weeks. I think he requires a good amount of skill for want he can do from my initial impression of him.

Honestly, I think he’s great upon release. I really dislike playing him, which sucks as it kinda wasted my money right-off-the-bat, and I was really looking forward to him :c But, he seems very balanced.

He’s not OP, so please stop with the nerfing ideas. He’s very balanced, in close quarters without his smoke you can beat him with any class and at long range a good Vasili player will kill you constantly. Heart beat sensors still spot him and explosives get rid of the smoke cloud. He’s fine, now move on.

I can’t seem to get his weapon to work for me, lr the sight is so intrusive its hard to aim and sr the spread is too hard to control for me :confused:

Stay cool with the trigger. As someone said “Take your time, aim for the forehead, it will fall on the floor otherwise”.

After a 15 min first look, I really can’t see why OP is asking for a speed nerf. The ads-forcing nature of his main weapons (except dreiss) generates a strong weakness in low to medium ranges. If you miss 2 out of your 3 first bullets, you’re generally toasted.
