I noticed this too. It’s so stupid. I’m not sure why they programmed it this way. I’ve died countless times because I wanted to put some bullets into the enemy, but ultimately needed that extra accuracy to outdo them.

So you think that ironsighting in the middle of a firefight should make you more accurate?

No. Because holding down mouse 1 and firing from the hip like everyone else doesn’t separate the good from the bad. It means the winner rolled better dice on the spread. Good players should be rewarded by out aiming and controlling recoil while minimizing spread.

As it stands right now I have no reason to not just hold down mouse 1 with my smg and wait to reload before hitting another button other than sliding lolz. It’s rather skill-less and very unsatisfying.

That’s exactly what it should do.
