Feedback: From the hip to iron sight, we can't shoot.

what you are hip firing and then going into iron sights? Why not just aim first then fire instead of spraying?

Because hip fire is accurate at first and you lose FOV it’s nice to go hipfire->iron to control recoil.
I agree with the op so does just about everyone that’s played it with me.

You could have an enemy close that you spray from the hip then immediately want to go on to an enemy further back behind him. There really is no explain such small details, but those milliseconds are what separates the good players from the average.

I can totally relate to the OP. I havent played the game but some people streaming it (on pc) complained about this as well. It’s a stupid limitation and needs to be patched asap.

i know this is a video game and all, one that lets you run around off the walls and is set in the future, but have you ever shot an automatic weapon from the hip and then tried to use the sights in the middle of shooting? it’s pretty damn difficult.

This has to be fixed, really quickly.

It’s a HUGE flaw in the gameplay, I don’t understand why they want to prevent you from going from hip to iron sight, it’s a non-sense.

It’s a “HUGE” flaw. Either you’re trollan or you need to get your perspective straightened out. It’s a nagging annoyance, not a huge flaw.

And I think it encourages camping, since people already in Iron Sight may get the edge all the time. Like the crouch in Counter-Strike.

If you think about it, it doesn’t sound realistic in real life that you would be shooting a gun and then bring the gun up and scope into it while still holding the trigger (if that is what you mean - otherwise I’m not sure what your complaint is here).

didn’t you know lins? release of brink came with a free infection of mountainoutofmolehill syndrome. where everything wrong turns into a huge betrayal and fatal flaw in game design, and of course all are completely valid reasons for a refund [/sarcasm]

I don’t play like that, If I shoot from thr hip I make a slight pause before switching.

Never even noticed this. In fact, I don’t even bother with ADS unless their WAY too far away or I have a scoped weapon. The hip fire in this game is really easy to control.

I’m not great with definitions. But short-story-long, a troll is someone whose primary goal is to disrupt general goings-on and to cause annoyance, generally for the sake of amusement, and trolling is being a troll by that definition.

As opposed to the alternative definitions—a World of Warcraft character of a certain particular race, an alien race from Homestuck, and a bridge-dwelling, unhappy man who hates goats going past so he wants to eat them, among others. Also a very bad movie.

It wasn’t a post I don’t agree with. It was a post that was putting out an intentionally stupid message intended to interrupt proper conversation, or it was someone who didn’t realize how stupid it was, which I accounted for. See my definition above for more details about whether or not I feel intentional interruption of conversation by obvious straw man arguments is considered troll-like behavior.

I signed up just to agree with this, because it’s actually gotten me killed a few times.

That little delay is so, so, SO annoying and it simply just should not be there. That’s it, there’s no argument as to why it should stay.

I don’t care what the SD defense force comes in saying, it needs to be changed.
