this function could be justifying tool for daft player. they dont like your advice or your request, then mute/ignore you. nah!

So basically, you are saying they shouldn’t implement a feature that prevents people having to listen to trolls/flaming/etc, because the person who might end up using it might also have been the person who started the insulting? What about everyone else in the server that has to listen this this garbage when they have nothing to do with it?
At least you could mute/ignore people so you don’t have to listen to their constant BS and actually focus on the game instead.
That makes no sense… its like saying they shouldn’t have an Anti Cheat program either then, because people who cheat might end up cheating and get banned.
Honestly all they need to do is just add have both text and voice mute. If people dislike someone, they can mute them. A report system would only serve to shrink the community.

feature like that need trigger to be properly right-target used.
I prefer System auto mute. you said hot words couple times get warning from system. you keep say that words, System mute you by force. he can’t chat anymore on that game.
auto mute is terrible.
What if its just friendly banter among friends? You can’t cuss because you will offend an automatic system? You can’t cuss when the narrator is repeatedly cussing at you to disarm that fucking C4?
Is this one of those ‘what will I tell my children?’ moments?
