Well when you insult an entire community, I think that’s where the problem is.
Nothing wrong with suggestions.
Suggesting changes is fine. But you knew or should have known that what you were suggesting would be divisive. Getting upset that people aren’t supporting it doesn’t help anybody and neither does acting like a victim. It’s all good to throw out your opinion but just realize that not everyone will see eye to eye with you. Especially when it comes to movement systems in games.

if you’re insulted by a gameplay suggestion you got some real life priorities to work out.

The suggestion is not insulting. Saying it’s frowned upon, saying it lacks skill, calling it selfish, relating it to teamwork, etc. now that, that could be viewed as an insult. Personally I don’t really give a fuck.

if you don’t find it insulting then don’t say it is because others are probably not insulted by it either.
now let the thread die please.
just because someone isn’t insulted by sth, doesn’t mean that sth isn’t insulting
I get what the OP means if he’s on about when proxy jumps around you like ape shiz and you can’t target her. Annoying as fuck.
However, that only ever is annoying when right in the face. A counter to it is distance. A counter to a strength.
I’ve not seen enough to complain yet though, maybe in open it’ll get more popular. never has issues with et and this seems similar.
[quote=“bumbertyr;1414”]I’ve noticed the Bunny hop Brigade has started to invade dirty bomb, games not even open yet which is pretty sad. After a certain amount of jumps consecutively your jump height should be severely reduced along with moving a bit slower while jumping for a small period of time.

ERMAHGERD BUNNEH HAWPPIN
I’m pretty sure this issue has been brought up somewhere else.
Bunny hopping doesn’t give you that much of an advantage. Not only does it slow your movement but you can’t change direction in midair. Someone who bunny hops will be eventually limited to moving straight up and down - pretty easy to track. Besides, whenever they go up they’re coming straight back down again, and if you don’t change your crosshair level you will snag some headshots as their head passes through your crosshair on their way back down.
ALSO: Bunny hopping is referred too as the spamming of jumping used to get around the map faster NOT the use of jumping to evade

that looks more like a player getting confused by low fov than anything to do with tracking
Bunny hopping most often negatively affects the hopper in DB imo. Yes you are making yourself a more difficult target, but it usually is at the cost of spread bloom and generally becomes more difficult to aim yourself. Snipers and shotgun hoppers might feel more annoying, but it’s an understandable tactic; I snipe against chickenwaffle all the time and I think he’d beat me a lot more often in duels if he didn’t try to jump so much. In all my time playing FPS games the ones who usually hate bhoppers are the ones who heavily tweak their mouse axis sensitivities for easier head lining or simply can’t adapt their aim style for vertical movement, but I have no issues moving my hand up the pad to counter a hopper and will win most of the time because of my reduced spread
.

At the point where the enemy leaves bumbertyr’s fov then yes.
After he reenters the fov however, bumbertyr completely misses him as he jumps.
So no, I don’t think that bumbertyr can aim well at bunnyhopping targets, and that’s why he wants it removed.

Be aware the frames your seeing were much better than i could see, I was seeing about 8-10 frames while it recorded around 30ish.
either i need a new computer or a new recording program as fraps uses way too much memory on my computer. Honestly i’m surprised i was able to record any kills with the horrible frames i was getting.
Can someone please explain why this is possible? (with Fraps)
Until then, I’m calling bullshit.
Also, I recommend ShadowPlay if you can get it. (nVidia card 6xx+)
