so I guess you HAVENT seen the video, the video shows that you can’t bunny hop, it stops you from speeding up or give you momentum
Fatigue system

As a tester it’s your job to give suggestions that YOU would think help improve gameplay.

Fair enough, but again, suggesting drastic changes to fundamental aspects of the way a game plays and feels is where the line is drawn. You’re trying to mold the game into what you want it to be because it’s what you like, not because it’s something that makes the game better balanced or what-have-you.
you clearly didnt read my entire post
in most of the newer games you don’t gain speed however it still makes you harder to hit
so is wall jumping but they still have that, heck it’s a must, wall jumping is a must in this game AND ITS HARD TO SHOOT SOMEONE WHILE THEY ARE WALL JUMPING… so again… still don’t know what you are talking about
and you are keep on saying it’s hard to hit people… doesn’t that mean they have succeeded in making it a fast paced shooter? cs go is slower, making reflexes a must in that game, combat arms is the same cause they make 100 hp look weak, while having like for example aura low hp but high speed, making her a hard target to hit riiiiggghhht? That is the whole point of this conversation I was making
wall jumping is a lot easier to predict than bunny hopping. Also edit your post next time, double postings against the forums rules, it should only be done if completely necessary which isn’t very common.
- I think it is completely necessary cause I was giving out 2 points, one is personal and the other literal and
- you can still slow down wall jumping and what makes you say that wall jumping is more predictable than bunny hopping? it’s actually less predictable since you never know if they are gonna keep on staying up high or they are gonna stop jumping on walls, hence, making it just as predictable as bunny hopping (like I said before if you have seen the video you would understand)
this already happens, have you even tried “bunnyhopping” yourself or are you just complaining about not being able to hit other people
also, you’re using cod and bf as great examples, shows that there’s something wrong with your argument
so bunnyhopping makes you harder to hit, except that it doesnt because aiming in this game is easy, except that it does because you cant hit auras and proxies jumping around
alright
As if bunny hopping and people who aren’t team players are in any relation to each other. Such a ridiculous statement lol.

actually when you think about it, you can use the sniper heart beat thing and use fragger’s nade and then those two things can work together… have you ever heard of “think outside the box”?
okay basically you play a game that is based on movement and jumping, and you dislike that people jump? I don’t…And since when does jumping = bad teamplay. I’m all for teamplay but i usually move around when in a fight because i don’t wnat to get shot, i don’t get it, gettign shot by standing stil makes you a better teamplayer? Why? please explain.
good one
Stop using that weapon you killed me with ‘insert weapon name here’ noob!
That’s not why bunny hopping doesn’t work in those games. Bunny hopping doesn’t work in those games because you lose absolutely all your accuracy to random spread.
As for this game? Nah, fatigue is lame. Nothing wrong with bunny hopping, never been frowned upon in the games I’ve played.
Honestly I rarely ever see people bunny hopping when I encounter them. Only zig zagging but rarely bunny hopping.

Fragger player who makes full use of movement system can make himself being first to arrive in battle, what can be significant advantage because of his gun’s accuracy and damage. So in my eyes speed is the king.
I wouldn’t sacrifice current movement elements at all in a game which is basically a race against the time. Bunnyhopping, even it’s current limited form, being one of them.
Jumping mid firefight just puts you on a fairly predictable flight path. Sure it may throw off some people’s headshots, but you’re still going to get pegged plenty.
Don’t see any of this as an issue.
Do you really not know what bunny hopping is?
Bunny hopping in some older games was done in order to gain speed while strafing making you harder to hit, in most of the newer games you don’t gain speed however it still makes you harder to hit. this wouldn’t be an issue since the guns in this game are complete childs play to aim like good lord, however because of medic machines people like proxy or aura bunny hopping around near them with shotguns causes some pretty big imbalance issues. It’s also one of the main spawn camp tactics second to Explosive skill rotations.
The reason it hasn’t been a big issue in some of the major fps games like battlefield and call of duty is because they have a small fatigue system where if you try to jump too many times in a row consecutively it reduces your jump height by around 60% - 70% as well as reducing your speed. Of course the cap of jumps before that happens in this game would need to be increased due to the parkour system (Which could using some fine tweaking like grabbing ledge to get through windows or get over fences etc).
But of course at this point who knows! they might release a merc that complete decimates the bunny hopping population, anythings fair game at this point. It was just something i noticed and wanted to bring to the table.[/quote]
You don’t really know the definition of bunny hopping. In DB you can only jump. It’s not bunny hopping. Bunny hopping is where you gain speed through your movement with jumps and in some games you use strafe keys to assist with this. Strafe jumping is a little different in that using your strafe keys and swinging your mouse literally propels you faster and faster while you jump (most prominent in Q3). Dirty Bomb simply allows you to jump whenever you want.
You just don’t want excessive jumping. You want a fatigue system like many other games has and slow down the pace of the game (a game you claimed to be slow already).
You basically want BF4 or what Urban Terror has turned itself into with all kinds of limitations. Maybe this isn’t the game for you?
id like this thread deleted, apparently suggesting changes is too much for the community to handle.
