Hmm…well, for the original point, I kind of agree with what you’re getting at, you just want to play as one side…simply because you prefer that side, and I think…and I mean think, not too damn sure, but I think that as long as you choose to play Campaign Mode, you’d be able to just play as the side you wish…and now I think about, I think I’d probably do that with Security too…

You can choose to play only one side no matter what (campaign mode or freeplay). There’s nothing that will force you to play both sides (except for a shuffle, in which case you can always quit). It could be that when you join a server in freeplay, the side you want has more guys than the other, so you’d have to try another server in that case, but other than that and getting shuffled you’re never forced to play on one side or another…unless they’ve done something really weird and different.

I’m glad you can’t choose one side permanently. It would just end up being horribly unbalanced like the factions in MAG.
