So after some time playing this latest patch I feel I have to vent my frustrations. I use the word frustrations because it feels like you are moving away from teh potential I saw in this game months ago with each patch that gets released
First off, I like the fact headshots are more useful but lowering the body shots has slowed the time to kill right now. Infact, today, I was speccing inferno vs Dirtybomber in a 1 vs 1 battle medium distance as heavy weapons. I had to get up use the loo and watch a TV program before I sat back down. The gun fight was still ongoing. Think the map ended just before one of them died. Anyway, with guns that have the spread they have it seems like there is a lack of skill required to actually kill people. I haven’t made a kill with the medic weapon if the enemy is over 3 meters away because the fall off damage and the spread is ridiculus. I am very suprised that there are people who like this change, for me, its just as bad as having “every class can do the objective”
Secondly, with each patch the performance is getting so much worse. If I wanted to watch a powerpoint presentation I would! I want to play an FPS with at least 60fps PLEASE! (Note: My computer isn’t bad and some people seem suprised I get such bad fps.)
The three class thing. What if, as a competitive player, we play best of 3 maps. At the end of every map I have to swap out of the server to swap my classes and come back in again? Why not have 5 as the limit so you can have one of each class type? Just something that confuses me.
Whitechapel… Where do I start? If you was going to remove any stage how about the EV or the aful elevator stage?
Don’t get me wrong. The game looks great and some changes have settled in well. But the fire fights are as boring as they get right now. Maps are OK at best and the performance is heading down the pan every time a patch gets released. I love the fact that spam play is being promoted more now but gun fights feel so random now, almost feels as if you want a cross between Counter strike, Call of duty and awfulness.
Nothing worse then aiming and your bullets dont follow! Spread is sooo Dumb but OK at a very small increment. SD said they are looking at movement and with this high spread it will turn into spray and pray again. I really want to test this as a medic! I think that the main reason why all my friends left. Whats the point in aiming if your bullets dont go there… Does anyone remember how ET worked? It felt like the first how many ever bullets were spot on and then half to 75% of the way through the clip it went a little crazy… The ROF is so fast with the Medic gun even shooting at the wall in one spot was hard!
